Glimmer POV

There are people everywhere. different elements wear outfits of different styles, each unique to their element. I stay close to Jack, not knowing to do. He hold my hand as we walk through crowds, everyone asking him questions about me.

"Prince Jack, who is this lovely doll you have with you tonight" Someone asks, a Freezer Boy.

"Her name is Glimmer" He says coolly to the boy.

"So, your hanging with the crystallizers I see. She looks nice, has she met you Father?"
"What does he think of this"
"So how'd he gets you to go to the festival with him, sweetheart?" the boys ask

"My Father knows, and we have been friends for a long time, now if you will excuse me, I have to get to My seat" Jack says and takes me with him. "Don't listen to them, they're the jerky kids of the aristocrats my parents used to be friends with. "

"Used to be?" I ask

"They wanted money, and my parents never enjoyed their company, as you can imagine." He says and smiles. I smile back at him and move closer to him as we move our way through the crowded room towards the front.

"Glimmer you came!" someone shouted behind me. I turn around and see Mia, and she looks beyond beautiful. Her red hair is down in its natural waves with a flower crown.

"Hey Mia, of course I came" I say and hug her. the three of us walk over to where we are sitting and talk for what Feels like forever. When everyone is sitting down, there is an obvious divide between the two sides, except in the middle there is elements of all sides sitting at tables. That is good, what Hannah said may be true. As dessert is served, I start to get a headache.

"Are you ok?" Jack asks.

"Um, yeah. I think I just need some fresh air." I say.

"I can take you to a balcony, I've been to this place many times" Jack says and I nod. We excuse ourselves and jack takes me to a private balcony. The fresh air is definitely helping. we look at the stars in the sky in silence, when suddenly I hear,

"Glimmer, I've been waiting for you"

"did you hear that" I ask.

"hear what, its silent out here." Jack says.

"I thought I heard someone call my name."

"No, I didn't. Are you sure you're ok?"

"Glimmer, I need your help, you're the only one who can help me" the voice says again.

"I just heard it again, it said it needs my help, I'm the only one who can help them" I tell Jack.

"Isn't that a little dramatic?" He asks.

"Yea, but what should I do?" I ask

"I don't know, sometimes people heat voices here. People usually think they are crazy, but I don't think you're crazy."

"You don't?" I say and look at him. He looks so handsome, leaning against the balcony, His hair falling out of its groomed state.

A loud Boom goes off behind us and Jack and I turn around in Horror, as smoke arises from the ball room.

"HANNAH" we both shout at the same time and run back into the ballroom.
