Riff POV

This war needs to end. I had hope that it would, the tension between the elements had gone down, but now it has gotten worse. And I honestly can't figure out who's fault it is. But that's the problem with this war, it has become the blame game. 

The aquarians tried to stay neutral for the longest time, but my father caved in and joining the Freezers and Natures. But eventually my father pulled  out all of our troops, thinking that would help the other elements see the effects of the war on eachother. But a couple of days after he pulled our troops, Queen Stella attacked the Freezers, apparently with the assistance of Hannah, Jack, Flamara and two others, but I do not think that is correct. 

I was injured badly during the attack on the Festival, but I recovered quickly. I have been trying to figure out what happened on that night on my own, without the help from my parents or Hannah's little crew. So far I've come to the conclusion that it was a Crystallizer, because no Flamer could cause an explosion that big, and a Crystallizer would know how big of an explosion would have to happen to break the crystal exterior of the palace. That being said, I have no leads. 

I have considered reaching out to Hannah and her crew, but every time I do I think they have it under control. BUt after seeing the news, they clearly don't.

I want to help Hannah. We were close when we were little, but as we got older my Parents did not visit the Freezers as often, and then Jack and I got into a fight, which did not end well. The fight was my fault, for sure. I called him out for hanging around too many girls and taking his title as prince for granted, He said that I also hang around with girls and the bickering tuned into fist fighting. When Hannah saw us fighting, her face was horrified. After that, I hardly went to the Freezers with my parents, and I never spoke to Hannah or Jack again. 

Well, the last time I talked to them is when Hannah tried to get all of the royal children together, and that was a disaster. It was probably obvious that Jack and I still don't like each other. And I hardly spoke to Hannah, or even looked at her. 

I should have been with them after Mia died, but my parents did not want me to leave my room while injured, so I did what I do best and ignored Hannah, even though she tried to reach out to me. But now she is in trouble, and her friends. I don't want to see another unnecessary casualty because of this war, especially another person I care about. It's time for me to suck it up and reach out to Hannah. 

Hannah, can you hear me? I try to reach her with her telepathy. We've used it before. I wait a couple of minutes with no response. Can She hear me? Is she ok? Maybe she forgot about this? 

Riff, you're ok! Hannah says telepathically. I hear her! Oh my gosh it worked! 

Hannah! It's so good to hear you, I saw the news.

Oh, yeah, it's not what it looks like, i swear.

I thought so, what happened? Do you need my help?

Um so basically Jane is helping Stella and I think she saw us as an obstacle and tried to get us out of her way. We could really use your help.

Ok, what can I do? 

Well if you could come here then we can make a plan with the others. 

How can I get to the freezers sector? 

Hang on, let me get my brother, he can teleport you here. You may want to bring some clothes.

I wait for a couple of minutes and suddenly there is a portal next to me. Hannah probably had to convince Jack to let me come. I walk through the portal and into a cabin. 

"Riff?" I hear Hannah say. I turn around and smile. Hannah looks so tired, but still holds herself high, just like a princess. 

"Hey." I say. She runs into my arms an gives me a hug. 

"I've missed you." She whispers. 

"I've missed you too." I whisper back. 

"Ok you two, Hannah, could you maybe explain why Riff is here?" Someone asks. I look up and see Flamara. 

"Hey Flamara, long time no see." I say. 

"Yes, well I hope you are here to help, as you've been so useful in the past." She says sarcastically. 

"Who is this?" Someone asks. I see a girl I have never met before, she looks like a crystallizer with blue and purple eyes and dark brown hair. 

"I am Prince Riff of the aquarians." I introduce myself to the girl. She smiles. 

"Ah, you are the one Hannah mentioned. I am Khaleesi, but you may have known me as Kira." She says. 

"Wait, are you... Are you the princess of the crystallizers, she's alive?" I ask.

"Yep, or at least we are 99% sure she is. Glimmer found her the night of the festival. Khaleesi has had a few memories from being a princess, but not much before her 'death'. We think someone tried to stage a death." Flamara explains. 

"Wait, who's Glimmer?" I ask. I legitimately do not remember a Glimmer. 

"I'm Glimmer." Someone says behind me. I turn around and see a short girl leaning against the bar in the kitchen. She's wearing an oversized blue t-shirt,  interesting wardrobe choice. Jack is standing behind her. Wow, he's a lot taller than her.  

"Ah, I think I remember you from the day Hannah had us all together, You're from earth, right?" I ask. 

"Yes, I am." She says. 

"Hello Riff." Jack says and nods. 

"Hello Jack." I say and do the same. 

"Ok, well, to break the awkwardness, we have some plans that we want to tell you Riff, If that is why you're here." Flamara says, smiling at the end. Well she's changed. 

"Yes, that is why I'm here. But first, do you guys have any breakfast, I'm starving." I say. 

"Well you came just in time, because breakfast is ready!" Hannah says. 

Everyone sits down to eat breakfast. I notice that Glimmer sits next to Jack, and the two sit very close to each other.  I try to process all the information Hannah just told me and don't listen to what everyone is saying. I try to not stare, but there is something familiar about Glimmer. I casually look between her and Khaleesi to try and jog my memory of the two, if I have any of Glimmer or Kira, from when Kira was little. 

Kira is alive. Jane is working with Stella. Where is Kato, is he working for Stella too?  Why do I recognize Glimmer, or something about her?
