Jack POV

when we reach the cabin Hannah unlocks the door and lets everyone in. 

"Wow, it really can only be seen by your family, I didn't see it at all." Flamara says. 

I find the medical supplies in the kitchen as Flamara, Glimmer, and Khaleesi point out their injuries. Hannah cleans their cuts and helps Khaleesi with a twisted ankle. Flamara has a bunch of scratches from the trees, but Glimmer has a deep cut on her left arm from Jane. I wrap medical tape around her arm, careful to not make it too tight.

"You seem to know how to do this very well." Glimmer points out. 

"When we were younger Hannah was a little clumsy, so I would help my mom when she fell." I tell her. No one is in the mood to talk, so we all head to seperate rooms to attempt to sleep. But I have a feeling everyone got little sleep.

I wake up to the smell of breakfast being made. I walk downstairs and see Hannah and FLamara making pastries. 

"Well you've been busy." I say. 

"Good morning, mister unbuttoned shirt." Hannah teeses. 

"Don't you want to save that for your girlfriend?" Flamara asks with a smile. 

"Ha ha, very funny."I say and sit down at the bar. 

"Speaking of which, is she your girlfriend?" Hannah asks. 

"You can totally tell us" Flamara says. 

"Um, I don't know." I answer.

"Well, she clearly likes you." Hannah says.

"Yeah?" I say, smiling. But then I stop. Now is not the time to think about this.

"What's wrong?" Flamara asks.

"The thing is, I really, really like her." I say. the two girls faces are ecstatic. "But, I can't, or I guess I don't want to say anything because what if something happens?" 

"That is a legitimate concern, but you two need to tell eachother." Flanara says, 

"Please, the suspense has been killing us!" Hannah says. 

"Ok, ok, I will, eventually. Now enough about me and my feelings. I'm hungry" I say, changing the subject. They have a point though. 

"Hey Hannah, can you turn on the news in here?" Flamara asks. 

"Yeah sure." Hannah says and turns on the port screen in the kitchen. Khaleesi walks into the kitchen. 

"Morning Khaleesi! How about you get Glimmer, Jack,  so we can all eat together." Hannah says. 

I walk upstairs to Glimmers room. her door is open so I walk in. I look over and Glimmer is wrapped up in her sheets, silently sleeping. She's cute when she sleeps. I go over and sit on the bed. "Glimmer, it's time for breakfast." I whisper. Glimmer groans. 

"I don't want to get up." She mumbles and sticks her head out from the covers. I laugh. "Whats funny" she says and sits up.

"Oh, I wasn't expecting you to come out of the covers, you looked comfortable" 

"I was, thanks for waking me up." 

"Your welcome." I teese. Glimmer rubs her eyes and looks at me, and blushes. 

"Um, you're kinda missing some of your shirt." She says. 

"Oh, yeah." I awkwardly say. I look over at her arm. "How's your cut?" 

"It was a little uncomfortable to sleep with, so it took me a while to fall asleep." 

"Ah, I don't think anyone fell asleep easily last night."

"Did you not sleep well?"

"Um, no. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday, what may have happened to my parents, wondering if were safe." I tell her. Glimmer shifts out of her sheets and sits next to me. 

"I'm sorry." She says. 

"It's ok" I say. We sit in silence. This is a good time to tell her. "Hey Glimmer, I've been meaning to tell you something" 

"Yeah" She says and looks into my eyes. 

"Well, so I've-"

"JACK, GLIMMER, GET DOWN HERE YOU NEED TO SEE THIS" Hannah yells. 

"Hold that thought." I say. We run downstairs into the kitchen. "What is it?"

"Look." Hannah says and points to the port screen.

"The King and Queen of the Freezers were attacked yesterday afternoon. The suspected attacker is Queen Stella of the Strikers, accompanied by what looks like the KIng and queens own children, Hannah and Jack, along with three others, one appears to be Flamara Princess of the Flamers and two other girls, whom do not seemed to be royalty connected. If you see any of these five children, please tell your superior for them to asses the situation" the news woman reports. Images of the five of us appear on the screen. The news continues to give false reports on the attack from yesterday, but Hannah mutes it. 

"This is bad, very bad." Flamara says. 

"What is our next move?" Khaleesi asks. 

"Well, I think our next move is eating breakfast, because we can't think on an empty stomach." I say.

"He's not wrong." Hannah says and everyone sits down and eats in silence. 

We decide to stay in the cabin for a few days, until the news dies down. Hannah went out to get us food and other medical supplies, using her telepathy to make sure no one looked at her or question her. 

As I'm getting ready for bed I hear a knock on the door. "Come in" I say. 

"OH, you don't have shirt on." someone says and I turn around, it's Glimmer.

"Ah, sorry." I say and rush to put on a shirt. 

"It's ok." She whispers. 

"So, you need anything?" I ask. 

"Um, not really." She says. 

"Are you worried about falling asleep?" I ask. Glimmer nods. I walk over to her and wrap her in my arms. I never realized how short she is. She holds onto me tightly.

"Thank you" she says, muffled. 

"You're welcome." I say. She moves and looks me in the eyes, like she searching for something in them. 

"I really like you." She whispers. I smile.

"I really like you too." I say.
