A Visit from the Enemy

Glimmer POV

This is crazy. Jack and I theorized how Khaleesi could possibly be the dead princess of the crystallizers, but I wasn't sure it was true. But Jack was right, there is an emeralds tattoo on her right arm, the same spot where Kato has his tattoo. I asked Jack if he had a tattoo to prove he was a royal, but freezers don't do tattoos. only Royals or relatives of royals have grey eyes, so it is easy to tell.

After the nightmare at the festival, my headaches have gotten worse. I've only told Jack about them, and he's brought me medicine of all different kinds to see if any work. As time has passes, Jack looks more and more tired. He has gone to more meeting with his father, but whenever he isn't with his parents, he's with me, trying to make me feel better. I've learned a lot about him, his past, what he wants in the future, what he wishes he didn't do in the past. I've told him about my dreams, what school was like. Jack said he would take me back to earth if I wanted, but I told I needed to stay, I want to help. And I want to stay with him, but I didn't tell him that.

After we realize Khaleesi is the princess, we discuss what this means. We have another ally, but what use is she if 'Kira' is dead. There is a knock on Hannah's door as we sit on her floor, eating ice cream.

"Flamara, Khaleesi, hide!" Hannah whispers. Flamara and Khaleesi run into Hannah's closet. Hannah nervously opens her door. "Kato? what are you doing here? Are your parents here?"

"No, unfortunately not." He says. "Can I come in?"

"That depends, what do you want?" Hannah asks.

"I just want to talk, with all three of you" he says looking past Hannah, seeing Jack and I. Jack moves closer to me, in a protecting way.

"Come in" Hannah says, letting him into the room. He walks in and looks around her room and sits at her desk. Jack and I sit on her bed and Hannah make herself a chair to sit in. "So, what brings you here, Kato?"

"You know, my ancestors originally did not join the war, because they believed in unity" Kato said, looking at me. I can feel a headache growing.

"Yes, my ancestors were not a part of the love thing and did not see a purpose to join, but to keep the trade with Aquarians were forced to join their side." Hannah says, coolly.

"You know what's funny, the natures and the Aquarians fought each other last time, because the Aquarian prince killed the natures prince." Kato said.

"Yes, and now they are on our side. What is your point, Kato?" Jack said, impatiently.

"I just think it's interesting that sometimes history repeats itself, but not in the same way" Kato says and stands up.

"Is that it?" Hannah asks.

"Who are you, I don't think we've met?" Kato walks over to me.

"I'm Glimmer" I say.

"Ah, and where do you come from Glimmer. I highly doubt I would find one of my subjects lying around in another kingdom, let alone in the palace of Jack" he says, staring me in the eyes.

"I am from a place called none- of- your- business, your majesty " I reply. I am not in the mood to talk to some stuck-up prince.

"Well, ok then. Um, so Hannah, I think you have something of mine" Kato says. Hannah's face goes white.

"I don't know what you're talking about Kato, I haven't talked to you in years. But maybe Jane has whatever you are missing. I saw you two talking the night of the festival, shortly before her sister was killed" Hannah says.

"Who? Mia, oh yes, she wasn't supposed to die. Oh, and How is Riff doing?"

"He's injured, should recover from it. You know how royal Aquarians are, heal quickly in water"

"Yes, yes. Now, back to my question. Someone broke into my room, took something from me. I Know you did." Kato says, his anger rising. My headache sharpens and my breath quickens from the pain.

"Glimmer, are you ok?" Jack asks.

"Yeah I'm fine." I tell him quickly, but my face probably says otherwise.

"Oh no, what's this? Is someone sick?" Kato asks sarcastically, looking a me.

"I'm FINE" I say. I really don't want to talk about the headaches right now.

"Kato, I don't know what you're talking about, honestly. I didn't break into your room." Hannah said quickly changing the subject.

"Oh really?" Kato says and starts walking around her room.

"Kato that's enough, please leave. Hannah didn't steal any of your things, why don't you ask one of the other royals that where at the festival" Jack says and stands up.

"Fine, but If I found out you stole my orb, then I will have my entire army attack you palace, understand?" Kato. He turns around and leaves the room.

"Finally, he's gone" Flamara says and walks out of the closet.

"That is my brother?" Khaleesi said. "He sometimes visited me, he was never nice, told me horrible things"

"What did he mean by orb?" Hannah asks. The girls keep talking but I start to lose focus. I hear a ringing in my ears.

"Hey, I'm going to go take a nap" I say and stand up. I start to see spots in my eyes. I lean backwards and start to fall, but Jack catches me.

"Whoa Glimmer, are you ok?" someone asks but I can't tell who. I nod and take another step and pass out.
