Chapter 9

A month after they first had sex

Okay, it's been a month since we've had sex. Carlisle and I seem fine. I go to school like nothing happened. Even though I miss Carlisle during the day, it is a little fun to have freedom. Although, I have been feeling weird this past month. I've been eating more and vomiting every morning after Carlisle leaves for work early in the morning.

I thought about taking a pregnancy test, but it is really impossible. I mean, vampires cant have kids. It's rediculous to even think about. Hold on a second, I got to go throw up.

Okay, I'm back. Maybe I should go take a pregnancy test. Wait a second, I'm dating a 350 year old vampire doctor, I can just ask him. Right now, I got to go throw up again.

"Rosalie, when does carlisle get home?" I asked after school. 

She looked up from the paper she was reading and said," Any minute now. Why?"

I cleared my throat. "I think I may be pregnant."

Rose looked at me with a happy, but serious look. She put down her paper and looked me over real hard. I felt a little awkward. Then I heard the door open and Carlisle come in. I sighed with relief. Carlisle looked at me then asked "What's wrong?"

I swallowed hard. How did he know. Of course he's a vampire, he has vampire senses. I opened my mouth, then gasped in surprise. I looked at Carlisle in surprise and fear. "I think I'm pregnant."

Carlisle looked uncertain. I could tell he was happy, but then again he was scared because who knows what this child will become. I mean he's half human and half vampire. I dont know if that is good or not.

"Come on," He said.

I got up and followed Carlisle into his office with one hand on my stomach. Carlisle was sitting at his desk typing at vamp speed.

All afternoon Carlisle did tests on me to see if I'm pregnant and and the untrasound and needles wont penitrate the embreotic sack. I know I am though and Carlisle knows it too. The question is what do we do.
