"Sir. You have a meeting in 10" Fred my secretary approached me.
I don't hire women as my secretary. I just don't like to be with girls. After my break up with Nikkita i never wanted to be near women again.
I loved her. I did. I don't love her now. Its just that I don't want to break mybheart into pieces again. I gave her the world. Sa sobrang pagmamahal ko sakanya, ni hindi ko nakuhang magalit sakanya nung sabihin niyang may iba na siyang mahal.
My family manages chains of restaurants and I am now the CEO. Ewan ko ba kela Kuya. Iniwan sakin lahat ng trabaho. May mga anak na raw sila. Di na nila mamanage ng maayos lahat ng restaurants kaya ako nalang daw CEO. Labo diba??
5 minutes before the meeting pumunta nako sa board room only to find my cousin Daisy in there.
" so you arranged a meeting to talk to me." I stated. It was obvious she went her to matchmake me again.
"Erik i swear tatanda ka agad sa ginagawa mo! I met my weeding coordinator this morning. I swear she's really hot. Ask her out. I think she's into basketball too. I saw a poster of Stephen Curry and Wade in her room" Daisy said smiling.
I smiled too and sat beside her
"Daze.. I'll get a girl once I'm ready. Okay?" I told her
"Kailan pa?!! 25 ka na! Erik naman! Masaya na si Nikkita. Dapat masaya ka na rin diba??" She shouted
I laughed. This girl really makes me smile.
"Ok. Ok. When will you meet her again? I'll go with you. And if she catches my attention, I'll ask her out" I tried to negotiate with her.
"No! Just take her out! It won't hurt to try Erik. Please?" She begged.
"Good bye Daze. Its 5pm. Office hours over. Schedule another meeting with me then" I said and went out of the boardroom.
I left the office earlier than I wanted too. So I went home and cooked dinner. Culinary tinapos ko. Second love ko ang cooking, and I don't mind if it sounds gay. Masaya mag luto.
Varsity ako nung college. Player ako ng CSB. Na draft pa nga ako pag graduate ko nung college. Kaso hindi ko tinanggap. Pero kinukukit parin ako ng mga coach na magpa-draft ulit. Kaya pinagiisipan ko pa.
Yan din kasi dahilan kung bakit iniwan ako ni Nikkita. Wala na akong oras sakanya. Kaya siguro nakahanap siya ng affection sa ibang lalaki. Mahal ko siya kaso mas mahal ko basketball noon.
After dinner, I decided to open my laptop to finish some work. Mga 11:30 na nung natapos ako at hindi pa ako inaantok. Sakto tumawag si Sean. Baka nag away nanaman sila ni Duffnie. Kaya sinagot ko na.
"What do you need Sean" I asked in a bored voice
"Erik! Buhay ka papala. Dito kami valk! Punta ka. Andito rin si Harold at Andrew! And what do I need? I need to see your face. Nakalimutan na namin muka mo eh" natatawang sabi ni Sean
"Okay. Be there in 20." I said and went out of my unit. Namiss ko rin sila eh.

Pag dating ko sa Valk, umakyat agad ako dahil for sure nasa VIP room nanaman yung mga yun and I was right. Andun sila kasama si Duff, Maine at Stef. Ang tagal na nila, simula high school palang kami si Duff at Sean. Si Maine, Harold at Stef at Andrew, nung college. Di pa sila magpasakal.. este mag pakasal.
"Erik! Andito ka. Namiss ka namin. Akala namin nagkapalit na kayo ng muka ng laptop mo eh!" Duffnie said as she approached me for a hug.
"Ikaw talaga Duff. Busy lang yung tao eh. Malamang sagot ko pagkain sa kasal niyo kaya nagiipon nako" I told her and sat down. I got a bottle of beer tinunga ko agad. Namiss ko eh. Hahahaha
"You should be saving for your future. Not for us 'rik. Ano ka ba namang lalaki ka?" Stef asked me.
"Oo nga naman Bro! Magbabayad naman ako no. Basta ba masarap luto mo!" Andrew said habang nilalaro buhok ni Steff. Kulot kasi. May fetish sa kulot yan. Actually, parehas kami.
"Pagbabayarin ko naman talaga kayo! Mga ulul! Walang libre libre sa business no!" I said as I finished my bottle. Ay wow! Uhaw ata ako.
They were all busy with each other so I decided to go to the counter for a harder drink.
I was on my second glass when a thin girl with curly long hair approached me.
"Hi" she said
I looked at her. Bakit gulat na gulat 'tong babaeng 'to makita ako? Pangit ba ako? Which I highly doubt. Gandang lalaki ko kaya!
"Hi. Do I know you?" I asked. She sat up straight and curled the buttom of her currly tops
"Ah. Ahm. No. You don't. I'm Riley. Riley Perez" she offered her hand. Ang liit at ang lambot ng kamay niya. Parang mababali siya any moment.
"Erikson. Erikson Gomez" she smiled and asked again...
"Why are you alone?" She asked again. I smirked.
"I don't need company tho. And I'm with my friends. And you?" I answered her.
"Ah.. ah.. ano. Ahm. Kasama ko rin friends ko. Lumbas lang ako saglit. Parang nakakasakal kasi sa loob" she answered. Why do I feel like kinakabahan siya sakin.
"Ah. Sige. Balik nako sa loob." She said while getting down the chair, dahil mataas yun, mejj nahirapan siyang bumaba. Medyo tumaas din yung off-shoulder black dress niya. Inalalayan ko na.
"You could stay if you want" I told her habang hawak ko braso niya. She seems shocked again. Ano ba 'tong babaeng to? Grabe ba 'to mag kape at laging nagugulat?
"I... uhm... its okay. I need to go back" she said.
"No. I insist. What do you want? Vodka?" I asked. She smiled and answered
"JD cola" ah. Hard drinker pala siya..
"You're a hard drinker?" I asked
She smiled. "Turn off ba? Sorry. Lasinggera tropa ko eh" she said and got her glass.
I laughed. "Hahahaha. Hindi naman. Usually kasi vodka ioorder ng mga babae eh"
"Eh paano yan? Mas trip namin 'to kesa sa vodka." She smiled
Natawa narin ako. Well. I guess someone would keep me up tonight.
I don't like being around girls pero since wala naman ako magawa. Sige kakausapin ko na 'tong si Riley.
