MARCUS
Nung umalis ako sa unit ni Riley, tinawagan ko si Sean. kinuwento ko sakanya mga nalaman ni Riley. Nasabihan niya sila Harold and Andrew at napagkasunduaan namin na magkita kami sa unit ko.
Pagdating ko nauna pa sila sakin at nag aabang sa labas ng pinto ko.
"bakit hindi kayo pumasok? Yun parin naman code niyan?" I asked them.
"Mahirap na, baka mamaya may ginagawa nanaman kayong milagro ni Riley no!" Sean answered. sinaaaman ko siya ng tingin at tumawa.
"Joke. nalimutan kasi namin yung code!" Sabi ni Andrew.
Mga baliw talaga. I opened the door and we all went in.
"So gusto ni Riley kausapin mo si Nikkita? Bilib din ako sa babaeng yan ha. Pano pag ginamitan ka ng drugs nun at kunwari may nangyari sa inyo??" Sean asked
"I think kasama sa plano ni Riley yan" I answered
"Whaaaaat?" Sean/Harold/Andrew
"Aba malupet! Hahaha. Jusko ano trip ng fiance mo pre?" Harold asked
"I'm not sure as of the moment. Ang sabi niya lang mag usap kami at takutin si Nikkita based sa photos. Pero naisip ko ang excited nun. Dapat medyo ilead natin si Nikkita na kunwari mas pipiliin ko na siya para maniwala siya sakin bago ko ilabas yung pictures" I said.
"Hindi ba mahabang proseso yun? At isa pa? Pwede namang blackmail ang labanan. Mas talo siya dun" Andrew answered
"Or sundin mo nalang si Ry. Mukang desidido sa plano niya eh" Sean
Napatahimik kaming tatlo. Hindi ko talaga kasi maisip bakit ginagawa ni Nikkita to. I mean bakit ngayon pa?
"I was thinking.. hindi kaya tinitest ka lang din ni Riley? I mean, pano if tinitignan niya lang if kakagat ka sa mga ginagawa ni Nikkita." Harold asked.
"Hindi naman insecure si Ry." I said.
It all left us wondering. My friends said wag kong sundin si Ry and I was thinking of not following her as well. But hell! What if she was right? What if it was the only way?
"Anyway, bro may game tayo the following day. So tara na sa practice. At baka mag wala si Duff dahil for sure pupunta yun dun" Sean said.
Okay, nakalimutan ko talaga na may game pa kami, kasi nga yung problema sa company at si Nikkita. I texted Riley that I was going to the practice. She replied with an okay.
Riley
As soon as Marcus texted me that he will attend his practice, I called Duff.
"Yes Riley?" Duff answered.
"I was thinking if you will be going to the practice?" I asked
"Ay! after pa ng practice ako pupunta. sasabay ka ba?"
"Hmm. I was thinking baka pwedeng manuod tayo. I have this feeling na pupunta si Nikkita. Alam mo nman yung babaeng yun! Ang bilis maka-amoy kay Marcus" I answered
"Ay! sige. sama nalang ako. pero pwedeng malate ng konti? Gusto kong mag handa ng sandwich for Sean eh"
"Okay! Si Marcus naman Gatorade at chocolate lang dadalin ko eh"
"Sige! see you later! uber nalang tayo. kasi for sure may dala sila parehas na car. di naman nila alam na pupunta tayo eh"
"Sige. Ako na mag book, on the way ka naman" I said and ended the phone.
Duff and I arrived at the gym minutes before their practice would end. At sympre, Tama hinala ko, andun nga si Nikkita. May suot siyang jersy ni Marcus. Feeling ko jersy pa yun nun High School sila. Based sa number ng jersy, number 3 na kasi ginagamit ni Marcus ngayon.
Monthsary daw namin ng 3. At oo, siya pa nakapansin ng date nun sinagot ko siya. Is it safe to say na mas patay na patay siya sakin ngayon? Hahahaha
Naglakad kami ni Duff palapit sa bench nila Marcus and watched their practice. Minsan na-aamaze parin ako na bf ko na siya, fiance rather. Hay nakoo.
"At ano namang ginagawa mo dito?" Nikkita stood infront of me asking me the most obvious question
"Watching my fiance play ball?" I answered her with an eyebrow up
"Anong fiance?! Ako fiance niya!" She shouted.
It made the boys stop playing and Marcus running towards me.
"Wtf?" Sean said "Anong ginagawa mo dito Niks. Why are you ruining their relationship?" He asked
"She ruined us Sean! Can't you all see?! She came into our lives on purpose! She flirted Marcus...."
Even before Nikkita could finish her sentence Marcus started talking
"First we were done before she entered that bar and sat beside me. And No, I was the one who asked her to stay that night. Second, if ever we did not meet at the bar, Daisy was quite persistent on me dating her wedding organizer which happened to be Riley. And third, I think if ever we did not meet at the bar and I did not come with Daisy to meet her wedding organizer, we would still meet since I would be the caterer of Daisys' wedding and she is the organizer. We'd also still meet at the wedding." Marcus said.
"So, you see we were bound to meet. Not because she flirted me or I flirted her or whatever it is in your mind" Marcus continued.
"And I believe Erik had all the rights in the world to flirt and date because he is single! What the hell happened to you Niks?" Duff said.
"You can't marry her Erik!" Nikkita said
"And why not?" I asked
"Stay out of this! You can't save him!" Nikkita
"And you can?" I answered back
"If he stays with me, I can!" Nikkita answered
"How?" Marcus asked
"Someone is trying to bring you down Erik!" Nikkita
"We shouldn't be talking about business without a lawyer" I answered. I have a feeling this was about the missing money at Marcus' office.
"You would not want the lawyers getting involve with this Riley" Nikkita.
"That makes me want to bring the lawyers mo. Schedule a meeting with fred! My fiance will not open his mouth without a lawyer!" I said
"Get out of my sight! Or I'll call the security" I continued
"At ikaw wag mo ko titigan! Maligo ka na! Gutom nako!" I told Marcus.
He smiled and got his towel. He took a shower. We waited for 20 mins and we left the gym.
Bukas kami magtutuos ni Nikkita! Humanda siya sakin bukas.
