A waitress approached us as we sat on our table.
Gentleman naman pala 'tong si Erik. Haha. He pulled the chair for me...
"Ano pong order niyo sir?" The waitress smiled at Erik
"What do you want love?" Erik asks
Ano raw? Bingi na ata ako eh. He called me love diba??
"Ugh. I would want some ribeye. well made, with mashed potato with bacon bits as side dish" I answered.
"Oh. And I want extra buttered corn." I added
"Egg soup and ceasar salad too"
"And... uhm.."
Erik suddenly chuckled. I raised an eyebrow??
"Baka gusto mo pa ng extra rice?" He suggested.
"Oorder sana ako kung hindi ka bigla nagsalita" I answered
He looked at the waitress and said
"Did you get her order? My girlfriend is starving. You'll be dead meat if something goes wrong with her order." He said in an authoritative voice
"Yes sir!" Then bowed her head.
"If looks could kill, she could have died a second ago" Erik suddenly said.
"Whatever Erik. I'm hungry" I dismissed the topic...
"For a thin girl like you, I thought you were starving yourself to maintain your figure" he said.
I stopped looking at menu and faced him.
"Do I really look skinny?" I asked. Okay, bothered talaga ako eh. Everyone says I'm skinny. I swear to God I gained weight na.
He look at me with an amused expression.
"You are thin but not skinny" He answered
I wanted to talk more, but then di ko alam sasabihin. The he suddenly asked..
"Bakit wala kang boyfriend?"
"Kailangan ba meron?" I asked back
"Its rude to answer a question, a question too you know" He said.
"Well.... ahm. I just don't feel like having one. Dadating din naman yun diba?" I said.
"So, dumating na ba?"He asked.
"Matagal ko na siyang nakita... kaso di niya pa ako nakikita. Or siguro.....
Hindi ko naman pala dapat siya inaantay. Kasi may iba rin siyang inaantay".......
