Riley
7pm na natapos ang Mass. Erik was holding my hand the whole time. I swear buong mass niya hawak kamay ko.
Nung peace be with you naman he gave me a long kiss on my forehead. Ano ba 'to? Ano ba kami? May kami nga ba?? Later I'll ask him about what our status is. Mahirap na.
We went out of the church holding each others hand. Intertwined fingers his grip was just right for me not to let go.
He opened the car door and I got in. He went around to the drivers seat.
"Where do you want to have dinner?" He asked
"Go italia I said. Favorite ko dun eh. Sarap ng pasta and they have the best crust of pizza.
Erik didn't say a thing. He just smiled.
As soon as we entered the restaurant all the waiters were by the door; they welcomed us.
"We'll use the garden outside" He told one waiter and left us.
"Do you by any chance have shares in this restaurant?" I asked. He smiled and said
"Nope. I own it. So, tell do want anything in particular I'll serve dinner tonight" He said smiling at me.
"Hmm. I want some creamy carbonara for my pasta and the supreme deluxe pizza. Just remove the pineapple. I'm allergic to them" I told him and smiled.
"You decide for our dessert" I told him. He smiled and left.
A few minutes after he left... A girl sat across the table I was using.
Shit! I know this girl.
She was as white as snow white. She had red lips. She was curvy but not fat. She had short hair that was shoulder level. She had red lips too. Okay. Mejj naiinsecure nako dito.
"Hi. I'm Nikkita. I'm sure you know the owner since you are here. No one gets to eat here except Eriks' friends." She said
I swallowed hard. Fuck! What does she want?? As far as I know they broke up right months after their graduation. Should I be bothered by her presence?
"Uhm.. Hi. I'm Riley." I tried to smile. "I'm Eriks friend" okay that stung. Ang sakit sabihin na friends lang kami.
"What can I do for you?" I asked.
"Wala naman. I just wanted to see you up close" She said and I swear she had this creepy smirk on her face.
"Ugh? ... okay?" I said.
She stood up and went near me.
"You should always watch out what your competitor is doing. Isn't that a rule in Advertising too?" She whispered
Eto na ba yung kinatatakutan ko? Babawiin na ba niya si Erik? Pwedebang wag muna?? Its been 2weeks lang since nagkakilala kami ni Erik eh.
Nakakastress. Di ko napaghandaan 'to. Shit talaga. I got a stick of my Marlboro Blue in my bag. And puffed it. Dapat kalmado lang ako eh. Nakakainis.
"You shouldn't be smoking before eating" A voice suddenly spoke up. Si Erik pala.
"Sorry. Nastress lang ako sa tinawag ni Suzzie sakin" I lied. Papatayin ko na sana yung yosi ng biglang may dinukot si Erik sa bulsa niya. Lighter??
Erikson
Nung nasa kitchen ako, may biglang pumasok sa kitchen. Akala ko si Riley eh. Pero nagulat ako ng si Nikkita ang nakita ko.
"Hi Erikson." She smiled. The moment she smiled at me I knew in my heart.. wala na talaga. Wala na akong nararamdaman sakanya. No love. No hate.
"Hi Nikkita" I said and continued cooking.
