Not bragging or anything but I knew that Riley would eventually say Yes to me.
I feel it by the way she looks at me. The way she smiles. And the way she makes time for me.
On my way back to the office, my phone beeped. Di nako umaasa na si Riley yun. Alam kong busy yun eh. Workaholic girlfriend ko eh. Haha

Bro! Gusto mo magpadraft ulit? Hinahanp ka ni Manager sakin. Baka daw you want to continue your dream?
Gusto ko yun. Pero kakausapin ko muna si Riley about dun.
When I reached my office, I saw Fred grinning at me.
"Tapang ni commander boss ah" Fred said
"I know. I'm one luck bastard I guess" I answered
"Fred? You think Riley will approve if I join PBA? Nagtext kasi si Sean. Magpadraft daw ako ulit this season" I asked
"Personal opinion sir? Sa tingin ko Ma'am Riley will love you more."
I smiled at him and gave him a tap on the shoulder.
Then I entered my office. Hahaha. Pinatay ko na yung cctv dito sa room ko.
Binubuksan ko lang naman kasi yun pag aalis ako ng out of the country or out of town for meetings.
Kinailangan ko lang talaga kanina. Gusto kong makita ni Nikkita na wala na siyang babalikan.
I'm pussy whipped! And she should be aware that Riley gives me thrill and excitement. Most especially contentment.
When I reached my office nag simula na agad ako mag trabaho.
At around 6:30 pm tinawagan ko si Riley
"Hi love" I said.
"Babe! Picking me up na?" She asked
"Are you done there love?" I asked
"Doing some invitations kasi. But yeah, I'm almost done. You can drop by na. Sa creative floor ka pumunta. Andito ako" She answered
"Okay Love. See you in a bit" I said
"Love you babe! Ingat ah!" She said
Nakakabading naman 'to. Napapangiti ako magisa.
"Love you more love" I said and she ended the call.
Tumayo nako and got my coat. Dala ko na rin yung messenger bag ko na laptop lang naman laman.
Bumababa nako sa parking at pinuntahan si Riley.
Pag dating ko sa creative floor nila, nakadapa siya at naka subsub sa laptop niya.
"You shouldn't be lying down like that with your skirt on" I said. Nakakainis ang kinis niya. Pano pag may pumasok na lalaki dito?
She looked at me and smiled. That sweet smile and I forgot why my arms were crossed and eyebrows twisted.
"Babe, Chill. Walang makakasilip kasi kami kami nalang nila Ella andito. Umalis na sila Matt" she said
I took my shoes off. May one step bago ka makararing sa floor na mukang milyon ang carpet sa lambot at laki. It was a black carpet. Tas. White yung walls ng room. Feeling ko white board 'tong buong pader nila. Puro throw pillows at comforter din dito.
