Lumabas ako ng building. Medyo nagulat ako sa sinabi nung friend ni Riley.
Wala na kayo ni Matt??
Sino kaya yun? Siya ba dahilan kung bakit siya nasa bar nung isang gabi?
Habang nagiisip ako biglang nag vibrate phone ko....
Daze calling.....
Ano nanaman problema ng pinsan kong 'to?!
"What do want Daisy?" I asked in an irritated voice.
"Chill Marcus Erikson. This is business. I was thinking if you could cater my wedding. I swear no discounts. Hayaan natin si Gino gumastos sa kasal ko" She said laughing.
"Okay. Talk to me tomorrow. And no. I'd still give discounts" I told her. Sympre pinsan ko siya no. Alangan pagbayarin ko ng sobra sobra 'to. Isumbat pa sakin eh.
"Okay. I'll tell my wedding coordinator about this. Lets meet with her tomorrow" she said.
"This is business Daze." I reminded her.
"It is. But I told you it won't hurt to try" she said and dropped the call.
I went home and the moment I entered the bathroom Rileys scent lingered into my nose.
Ang bango. Ok din 'tong si Fred pumili ah.
I doze myself too sleep right after having quick shower.

The following day I woke up with 10 missed calls. Lahat galing kay Daze.
I sent her a message and asked where she is.
She replied ihop bgc
Di nako nagreply. I took a bath and left my pad.
When I arrived, I saw Daze talking to her wedding coordinator. So I approached them.
"Ate Riley, sige na. Idate mo na pinsan kong ilang taon ng single. Sabi mo last relationship mo nung HS ka pa. Tagal na nun eh" Daze said
I stopped. Riley? Don't tell me si Riley Summer 'to???
I called her Attetion.. "Ehmm. Daisy!" I said
The Girl turned her head to my direction and wow. Just wow.
"Riley!" ...... "Erik?" We said in union..
"You know eachother?" Daze asked.
Riley nooded and I smiled.
"Well good! Kasi Erikson siya yung sinasabi ko sayo!" Daze said.
"I have to Go. Gino is calling me na" she stood up and left a peck on my cheeks and Rileys too.
"So.. uhm... ikaw yung wedding coordinator ni Daze" i started the conversation
"Apparently. I am. Ikaw kinuha niya caterer?? I was asking her kung nag babake din kayo kasi pwede naman kami na bahala sa cake and lahat ng pastries." She added. Wow. Bakit ang daming alam gawin ng babaeng 'to??
"We do have pastries. I have a bakeshop actually, but if you insist pwede namang pastries mo ilagay" I told her.
"Ahh. We were planning to put up a bakeshop kasi. So, try ko muna dito sa company. Pag ok earnings gagamitin ko yung pagpatayo ng bakeshop" She answered.
"Paano ka magkaka-time sa boyfriend mo niyan? Puro work iniisip mo" I asked
"Workaholic ako eh. Hahahha." She laughed and continue "tska wala naman ako boyfriend. If ever meron, I'd still continue this."
"Eh sino yung sinasabi nila kahapon na break na kayo?" I asked
Her jaw dropped. May nakakagulat ba sa sinabi ko?
She cleared her throat and said "Si Matt? Friends lang kami nun. Si Matt kasi lagi kong kasama para di ako 3rd wheel sa mga friends ko." She answered.
"Ahh. I see." I answered dropping the topic.
"So, Ano okay lang ba sayo na cake namin ang iserve sa wedding ni Daze?" She asked as she was doing something in her laptop.
"Yup! We could bake together" I said. Ok? Saan nanggaling yun???
Mukang nagulat siya sa sinabi ko.
"Ah.. eh.. ok lang ba yun?" I asked again.
She drank her Juice and spoke
"Seryoso ba??? Kasi di naman talaga ako magaling eh." She said and look down. I laughed. Bakit ba parang sobrang mahiyaiin niya?
"Last I heard, your friend said masarap ka raw magbake" I told her. Teasingly
She giggled "He had to say that kasi best friend ko fiance niya" She answered.
She closed her laptop and finished her food. After that she got something from her wallet.
"Here. Calling card ko. Just incase you need details for the wedding." She handed me the card.
"Thanks. Sige. I'll keep intouch."
She bent down. And I think she blushed.
"Tara hatid na kita" Sabi ko sakanya.
"I brought my car. Ok lang" She said. She stood up and got her bag. Tapos kinuha niya yung laptop. Sumunod ako sakanya.
"Goodbye Erik" She said as she dipped her hand in her bag, looking for her car keys I guess. When she got it a car made its beep.
I smiled at her and watch her as she gets out of my sight.
Teka nga. Ang weird ng pakiramdam ko. Bakit ba tuwang tuwa akong nakikita ko siya? Bakit hindi mahirap sa loon na kausapin siya???
I looked at the business card.. If I call her now, ano naman sasabihin ko? So I dismissed the thought. Bukas ko nalang siguro siya tatawagan.
Instead, pumunta nalang ako ng mall. Bibili nga ako ng Kyrie 1 na sapatos. Wala pa akong ganun.
Pagpasok ko ng Nike store, Nakota ko si Riley...
"Kuya. 3.5 po." Sabi niya sa lalaki. At kumuha ng stock.
"Didn't know you love shoes" I told her. At mukang nagulat siya. Napahawak siya sa dibdib niya.
"Ano ka ba Erik! Bakit ka nang gugulat! What are you doing here?" She asked
"Well. Buying shoes I guess." I answered looking at the shoes displayed.
"Maganda yung Kyrie. Actually yun kinuha ko" she said as she looked up to the shoes. Nakaupo kasi siya eh. Mukang magsusukat ng sapatos.
"I was going to get that too." I said.
Then the sales man gave her the size she asked for.
"Boss! Size 12 nga po ng Kyrie 1"
"Ay sir! Ang cute niyo namang mag boyfriend... couple shoes" the man said
Natawa ako. Napatigil si Riley sa pag sukat ng sapatos..
"Ah... ano kasi kuya... di...."
"Di siya sanay ngsinasabihan siya ng ganyan. Ayan oh. Namumula na siya" I cut her sentence. Nagulat siya kaya tumahimik na siya ngumiti yung sales man at umalis.
Di nagsalita si Riley after. Kaya di narin ako umimik. Pag dating nung sales man di ko na sinukat yung sapatos.
"Tara bayad na tayo" sabi ko kay Riley.
Saktong magbabayad na si Riley, I stopped her...
"Boyfriend duties" I said them winked at her. She kept her lips shut and just let me do what I want.
We left the Mall. I came home with a smile on my face thinking how my day went.
