I carried her upto our room. Then she said she would take it from there. I did not complain, I needed to cook lunch.
"Do I need to look extravagant for this lunch date?" she asked
"You look exquisite everyday my love. Just dress nicely" I said
"Okay. I think I'll take a deep on the bathtub." She said
I nodded and left the bathroom. The moment I closed the door I immediately went to my bag and got the small nlue box inside. It was hidden on one of my secret pockets. Reason why she did not see it when she fixed my things.
I went down for a quick shower. Since there is a bathroom downstairs too. After that I started cooking.
Since Riley is a pasta lover, I cooked carbonara. Her favorite. I also added some mac n' cheese pops. I hade this huge feeling that it doesn't matter how she felt.. As long as there is food she would definitely eat. I also prepared some strawberries n' cream jelatin for our desert. I also prepared sttawberry shake for her.
I was quite unsure of what I've prepared, but since its Riley we are talking about I bet she won't have stomach problems after this. Trust me. Her stomach is way too strong for food. Hahaha
After that, I prepared the table. Then I went to our room, I found her infront of the mirror looking at herself. She was wearing a sleeeless pink sunday dress. She was applying something on her lips. It didn't look like a lipstick tho.
I looked at her and smiled.
"You look gorgeous" I said
"Thanks! Aren't you gonna take a shower?" She asked
"I already did. I'll just put some decent clothes" I said. I was only wearing my boxers.
She smiled. She continued apply things on her face when I went to the closet to look for clothes.
I got a a khaki colored skinny jeans and a white polo shirt. And since Riley was wearing an all white keds sneakers, I wore my white chucks as my shoes.
I went to the bathroom and still took another shower. I might smell like i just came out from the kitchen and she smelled so delicate. So I decided to shower and wore my clothes.
When I went out of the bathroom, Riley was sitting on the bed. Patiently waiting for me.
I went infront her and offered my hand.
"Let's go my queen" I said
She smiled and took my hand
"Okay Simba" she said.
Its funny how she can think of pet names for me everytime I call her aside from her name and my love. I think that has something to do with her work.
We went to the kitchen then she stopped.
"You are not proposing, aren't you?" She asked and I chuckled.
"Your work is spoiling the moment." I said. Ofcourse she would think of such. Shes an event organizer
"Sorry. But still i think your not proposing. Gutt feels" she said and winked.
I laughed my heart out. This woman..
I pulled a chair for her and she sat down.
"Wow!! Mac n' cheese pops! This is good!" She said as she was getting the plate and putting some on my plate
