I couldn't sleep. Even though my beautiful mate laid next to me peacefully. I wanted nothing more than to make her my Luna. Mate with her. Introduce her to my parents and my pack. Have pups with her and grow old together.
I just had to find a way to tell her about me and everyone else she knew being a werewolf.
I smiled thinking about the promise I made her a few weeks ago.
" You're different. " Her brown eyes shined under the moonlight.
" Good different? " I looked up at the stars and the moon silently thanking the Goddess for giving me this wonderful mate.
" I- I don't know yet. I've never met anyone like you. " She bit her bottom lip in thought. " I've only known you for a short amount of time but honestly I've never felt like this. My emotions are 10 times stronger when it comes to you. " She said quietly playing with the grass underneath her.
" I'll explain it all to you.. Eventually. It's just not the right time. " The night breeze blowing her brown hair around her face.
" I understand. " She replied quietly.
" You do? "
" Uh huh, it would be hypocritical of me to make you spill all your secrets when I have secrets of my own. We all have all our own demons to fight. " She smiled at me but it didn't reach her eyes. " I trust that you'll tell me when you're ready. Just like I'll tell you mine when I'm ready. "
" I'll tell you everything. I promise. " And I will. As soon as I figure out how.
