Chapter Thirty Two

     I did what any logical person would do if you just saw the man you loved turn into a dog. I ran.

         I ran as fast as I could. I tripped over a branch hitting my head hard. The images of Isaiah's burned in my head. I felt sick but I knew I had to keep moving. I held my head groaning. With my luck I probably had a concussion.
  
     I felt the warm blood gushing out between my fingers as I started to feel dizzy. I definitely had a concussion. Just what I needed a concussion and a kinda sorta werewolf boyfriend.

          I has finally made it back to the fire and everyone surrounded me almost immediately.

     " Ashlynn I need you to stay with me. Keep your eyes open. " Mariahs voice called out but she sounded so far away.

          " Get the pack doctor! " Evan yelled. It could've been Jonathan but I wouldn't of knew the difference.

      " I-Isaiah.. W-wolf. Holy shit. Isaiah's a w-werewolf. " I couldn't breath. Every gasp of air I took filled my lungs with fire. " I c-can't breath. " I whimpered clawing at whoever got close to me.

      " She's having a panic attack! " Someone yelled. I couldn't tell who yelled at this point. Everything started to blend in together.
   
           My vision started to blur and I could feel myself going weak.

     " This is all my fault. " Someone next to me said. They sounded miserable.

          I had no clue as to where I was at. Judging by the smell of antibacterial soap and the constant beeping. I guessed the hospital.

     " This isn't your fault. There's no way you could've known that Thanos men were in the territory. "A female voice replied to him.

          " It is! If I had told her sooner she wouldn't of gotten hurt! " He yelled angrily. I had the urge to calm him down. Definitely Isaiah.

     " Isaiah you have to calm down. Ashlynn needs you. Your wolf needs her. " At the mention of wolf my heart beat sped up. The machines starting going crazy around me and I couldn't control my breathing.

    " Baby?! Oh Goddess I'm so sorry. Please baby get up for me! " Isaiah begged holding my hand tight. I wanted to pull away but I couldn't. I saw what he was and it terrified me.
 
        It was like my brain was telling me to get up and move but my body wouldn't cooperate. I tried moving my feet. Nothing. All I felt was tingles running through my toes.

      I kept trying and finally something happened. My hand twitched as I forced it to move.

           Come on Ashlynn. You have to get up. I want answers and sitting in this hospital bed won't get you any. Don't be such a wimp!  I scolded myself mentally.

        " Come on baby, you're strong I know you can do this. " Isaiah said caressing my cheek.

     Unlike the movies my eyes didn't just flutter open. It felt like they had been glued shut and weighted with cinder blocks.

        It must've been at least a hour of Isaiah whispering words of encouragement in my ear. I finally managed to squeeze my eyes and slowly open them. The light flooded in and immediately shut them. It was too intense.
