" Shut up Evan. " I covered my face in embarrassment.
" Leave the poor girl alone! " Quinn walked in looking like a million bucks. She threw her black hair over her shoulder, she knew she was beautiful.
" Quinn! The tempting damsel in distress. " Evan greeted with a wink.
" Evan. Isaiah's annoying little brother. " She teased pinching his cheek.
" I'm not that little. " He folded his arms frowning.
" You're 16. You can't even vote yet. " She pointed out to him. " Anyhow, Ashlynn. I heard you put that bitch Melissa in her place. Nice! " She grinned giving me a thumbs up.
" Who told you that? " I groaned covering my face.
" No one in particular. News travels fast around here. " She said laughing.
Great, the last thing I needed was a reputation on my first day. The second week maybe.
Before I could respond a man with greyish brown hair walked in.
" Everyone take your seats. " He said in a whisper.
The 3 of us took a seat at the lab table. He started writing on the board and I rolled my eyes trying to hold in my yawn.
" Welcome to the wonderful world of chemistry. This semester we will be balancing reactions, determining limited reactants, dealing with atoms.... " He voice droned on.
I found myself thinking of Isaiah. All the kisses we've shared, the secrets, promises of the future. We aren't officially together but it felt like it.
I even thought about the things Isaiah would do to me on this very lab table.
I must've been daydreaming for longer than I thought because I was snapped out of my sensual thoughts by the bell.
" Come on guys before all the good seats are taken! " Evan complained rushing Quinn and I out the door.
" They have the best food here! " Quinn commented.
" I'll be the judge of that. " I licked my lips excitedly.
The different foods hit my nose like a freight train.
The first thing I noticed about the cafeteria was the elegant tables and decorations. The tables had white cloths with gold trimming on each table. I felt like I should've dressed up.
" Come on there's Mariah and Aliyah. " I said rushing over to them.
I gave Aliyah the biggest hug and surprisingly she hugged back. Mariah pouted and I grinned at her.
" What I don't get a hug too? " She said laughing.
" Of course boo bear. Give mama a hug. " I giggled giving her a tight hug. " Now can I eat? " They all laughed taking a seat around the table.
To my surprise there was a fancy menu lying in front of each seat.
" What the hell is this? " I asked angrily after looking through the menu.
