I breathed a silent sigh of relief when I didn't have to answer her question.

" Sorry Alpha but I think I should know these kinda things. " She grinned as she skipped away to her group of giggling friends.

13 year olds sure were weird. I guess they're in that awkward stage of life. We've all been there.

" You have to stop running off like that. " He said to me as he grabbed my hand. The pad of his thumb traced circles on the back of my hand.

" I l-left a note. " I stammered stupidly. I was too focused on the sparks that lingered where his fingers touched to form a proper sentence. It was intoxicating. It was addicting.

" I saw it. " He smirked when he noticed my flustered expression. " Your tutors going to be here tomorrow. " He added as we walked back up the pathway.

" About that.. No. " I scrunched my face up as I ended my sentence.

" This isn't up for debate baby. " He growled lowly.

" I'll be fine! They never tried anything at school. " I said practically begging him to change his mind.

" That was before Ashlynn! They're desperate now! " He snapped angrily.

" I have Evan, Mariah, even Quinn if something happens! I highly doubt they would let me get hurt. " I reasoned with him. I had someone with me in every class.

" I know that. My wolf needs to know you're safe. " He said in a deathly low voice.

" Just because you're wolf is needy, I'm being punished? " I asked starting to grow angry.

" Pretty much. " He answered with a shrug.

" Y-you can't do that! " I yelled growing angrier by the second. I had stopped in the middle of the path. I could see the end of the backyard a few feet ahead of us.

" You don't really have a choice. " He said snapped at me. His green eyes were turning black. They flashed back and forth as he had an internal battle with himself.

" I do. And I'm going to school tomorrow. Tell your wolf to quit being a pansy! " I had raised my voice at him. He couldn't control me. I don't know why he even tried sometimes.

He eyes turned pitch black. His hands gripped down at his side as if he was controlling himself. I noticed his jaw lock and his dark eyes narrow at me. Apparently his wolf didn't want to be called a pansy.

" You're not going to school and that's final. You stop acting like a bitch for once in your damn life and listen to me! " His voice was deeper and rougher as he spoke. My eyes narrowed back at him as tears threatened to spill down my now red cheeks.

*** Isaiah's POV ***

I saw the hurt flash in her eyes before it was replaced with pure rage. I instantly regretted it. I was completely wrong.

Her hand slapped across my face hard. I deserved it. Even though I had seen her arm move and I could've caught it, I let her hit me.

" Bab- " I was cut off by another hard slap.

" I want you to stay the hell away from me! " She spoke quietly. I had seen a few tears trail down her face before she wiped them away angrily.

She stormed off towards the house not even sparing me a second glance. I ran a hand through my hair angrily.
