The Alphas Mate

Chapter Forty Six:

*** Isaiahs POV ***

" How long do you plan on laying like that cutie? " I asked my mate as I leaned against the door frame. Her body laid half off the bed.

" Until this nightmare is over. " She groaned rolling over, looking up at the ceiling.

" It will be in a couple of weeks. " I promised sitting down at the edge of the bed. " But in the meantime I cant have my mate wasting away in her room now can we? " I asked chuckling as she peeked her head up at me.

" No we couldn't. " She giggled pushing herself up on her elbows before standing up to stretch. The bottom of her shirt lifted up showing a little bit of skin. I forced myself to look away from the tantalizing picture.

As the days went by it had became increasingly difficult to keep myself from mating with her. I wouldn't think about doing all the sensual thoughts that were running rampant in my mind to her until this whole Thanos business was over. Then I would make Ashlynn my mate and my Luna. We could settle down in a private home to start our family.

" I think everyone's downstairs already. " I informed her as I took her hand in mine leaving the room. She nodded and squeezed my hand for a bit of reassurance.

***Ashlynns POV***

I clutched onto Isaiah's hand as we walked downstairs to the dinning room. There was no turning back now.

" Wait for your sister Noah! I taught you better than that! " My mom scolded smacking his hand away from a bowl. He scowled at the bowl.

" It's just Ashlynn. " He teased but quickly dropped the smirk when he caught the look my mom was giving him.

I stood awkwardly at the hallway contemplating my escape. Isaiahs firm hand on my lower back chased away the idea.

" You've grown so much.. " My dad finally spoke from the table. Almost immediately memories of us had flooded my mind. His voice was unmistakable.

" That tends to happen after almost 18 years. " I smiled at him.

" I'm sorry that I couldn't watch it happen. " The unmistakable trail of tears shined on his face. Within seconds I was engulfed in a bear hug. " I've wanted to do that all day. " He let me go with a grin.

" Alpha Davis. " Isaiah reached to shake my dads hand but he instead hugged him.

" You're like family now. It's Ryan to you. " He grinned at Isaiah. " Alright lets eat! "

My growling stomach happily obliged.

" Was it as bad as you expected? " Isaiah asked me as we laid in the bed with my head on his chest.

" No. It was good. There was no screaming or yelling so I guess I'm okay. " I yawned sleepily. All my energy was gone after today. I just need a long rest.

" Good night baby. " I heard him say as I drifted off to sleep.

*** Isaiahs POV ***

My alarm buzzed underneath my pillow waking me up. Carefully I lifted Ashlynns head off my arm and onto the pillow. I kissed her softly on her cheek before leaving.

It was only 5 in the morning so I wasn't expecting to her to wake for another few hours. When she did this would all be over.

I headed down to Ryan's office to finalize the plan before we left.

When I arrived Ryan and Noah were already looking over a large map. It was a map of the surrounding areas.

After a hour of going over the details we packed up and left for our mission.
