" You just bit me. " I stared at him dumbfounded touching my neck.

" No I marked you. " He replied smirking clearly satisfied with himself.

" That's the same thing! " I hissed at him angrily. Who the hell goes around biting people?

I ran over to the mirror in the living and found that there was a small crescent moon on my neck. It was no bigger than a quarter yet it stood out clearly.

I looked up and saw that my eyes were changing colors once again. This time they were turning various shades of grey.

I took a few calming breaths and closed my eyes. Counting down from ten, I opened them back up.

" Being marked as mine gives you protection. Once they smell your scent they'll know you belong to me. " Isaiah said as he stood behind me. He grinned proudly at the mark on my neck.

" What if I don't want to belong to you. " I frowned rubbing my fingers over the crescent mark again.

" You don't have a choice in this Ashlynn. Once we mate it'll become permanent. " His voice was deep and rugged. I realized that it was his wolf speaking.

" As in it won't come off? Ever? " I raised an eyebrow.

" No. " He rolled his green eyes. " You're stuck with me forever cutie. "

I wanted to say that it wasn't the worst punishment in the world but I was interrupted by a very impatient Noah.

" Lets get a move on people. " My brother Noah said as he came into the kitchen. He looked paused looking at my neck. " When did this happen? "

" That's not important right now. Lets go. " I sighed avoiding his question. I wanted to be mad at Isaiah for marking me without my permission but the damn mark was preventing it.

No matter how hard I tried to stay mad at him it never lasted for more than a few seconds.

" Damn that sexy man. " I cursed him as I walked out the front door.

We had been driving for a few hours and I was starting to grow bored of listening to my music. Taking my headphones out my ear I reached in the back to grab a bag of chips.

I had been surviving off of snacks since they wouldn't stop to get real food.

" How far are we Noah? " I asked him looking out the window. Mountains filled with different shades of colors passed us.

" We should be there in about a hour or two. Nervous? " He asked looking at me for a second before returning his attention to the road.

" Of course not. It's not like I'm meeting my birth parents for the first time or anything. " I laughed nervously biting my bottom lip.

I wanted to lie and say I wasn't nervous but I knew it would be obvious.

There were a million things running through my mind driving my insane with worry. From the psycho Thanos out to get me to the fact that I might be a werewolf. This trip would help me get a lot of answers whether I wanted to hear them or not.
