D A L L A S
Disregarding everything Darry had told me, and everything Liz didn't want to happen, I set off to find Marcus. I knew that it wasn't the best thing for me to do, or the wisest decision, but like I told Darry, I didn't get my hands bloody enough for comfort. It was the first day of October, definitely a chilly, gloomy day. Dark clouds rolled in, signaling a hurricane or just heavy rain. My leather jacket didn't help me keep warm, either, with the material as cold as the environment around it.
I went to the person who probably had the answer's to all of my questions: Ivan Waters' house. I don't have to worry about his mom or anything, Ms. Waters works long hours and Ivan's little sister goes to school. Twisting the knob, the door opened to me with ease. People really keep their doors open around here...
To my surprise, Ivan was right there in the living room when I first stepped in. He had a beer in one hand, a stick in the other, and had a mean look on his face as he stared at the television in front of him.
I cleared my throat to make my appearance noticed, and he jumped from his seat in response.
"What are you doing in my house?!" He eyed me frantically.
"You left the door open, idiot," I sighed, I was not putting up with his bullshit, "I'm not gonna harass you or anything, You're not the one I'm looking to fight with."
He looked dubious of my words but I'm guessing he chose to trust me because his body relaxed and he took a seat again. His hair was sticking up in all different directions, his outfit looked dirty, as though he hadn't done his laundry in months, "What do you need?"
"I need to know where Marcus is at, and I figured you'd know because I guess you know him."
"Yeah, I know him. Trust me, he wants to get his hands on you, too," Ivan snorted, "It's not like he's gonna win that fight. Anyway, he's got a secret house toward the west side of town. Middle class area. You know the small yellow house by the little shops down there? Yeah, he lives in the red house next to it."
"Thanks." I turned my back and headed out. I don't have the time to hold conversations, I just need to get to Marcus.

I ignored suspicious looks of the middle-class adults that knew I wasn't someone to deal with. Instead of the dirt roads and badly-placed pavement that we have on the East, everything was neatly paved and nice, almost like a plastic town.
I almost missed the red house Ivan told me to go to, it was covered by so many big trees. Not hesitating to run up and knock on the door, I waited impatiently for him to open the door. About ten minutes passed by and I figured he wasn't there, so I turned back and started home.
Until the door opened and I heard him gasp slightly.
Show time.
A/N: You guys I've had Volleyball games for the past couple of weeks I'm sorry this is short and late.
