💫|HARRY'S POV|💫

February 24, 12:36 a.m.

A loud buzz wakes me up. It keeps buzzing repeatedly until I finally sit up and rub my eyes. I let out a yawn and stretch a bit before my eyes open. It's completely dark and I frown. I look at the TV that shows the home screen to Netflix. I hear soft snoring coming from the side of me and I look over.

Daniel is asleep, his lips parted open gently with his hand resting lightly on his chest. The sight brings a smile to my face as I remember us cuddled up earlier. We must have fallen asleep watching Blue Is The Warmest Color. The buzzing continues as I let out a sigh and follow the sound of the buzzing. I look over at the nightstand and see my phone lighting up and vibrating against the wood of the nightstand.

I grab it and frown as I look at the time. Midnight? How did it get so late? Did me and Daniel sleep that long? I scroll through my text messages and see that they're all from Louis. I let out a small sigh, slowly sitting up, slipping my phone into my pocket. I have to get home now or Louis's going to freak.

"Shit." I curse. Daniel has to drive me home. I don't wanna wake him. Louis' house isn't that far from here. I can walk. I groan as I bend over and grab my shoes, sliding them on. I hear shifting behind me and I turn and see Daniel rubbing his eyes, slowly sitting up.

"Haz?" He grumbles softly, squinting his eyes in the dark. He reaches over and turns on his lamp, the bright light illuminating the bedroom.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." I quickly apologize. He sees me packing up and sits up further.

"Where're you going?"

"It's midnight. I have to get home." I said, watching as he brought his feet over the edge of the bed. He nodded.

"Oh, I'll take you." He offers sweetly. He looks up at me, giving me a small tired smile. I can't help but smile back at him.

"No, no. It's okay, I'll walk. It isn't far." I tell him. I don't want to burden him any longer with my presence.

"Don't be silly, love. I'll take you." He says, wafting his hand at me and bending over to grab his shoes.

I nod slowly as I feel my pocket vibrate. I ignore it, knowing it was Louis. I'll be home soon. I watch as Danny stands and runs a hand through his messy hair. He grabs his car keys and I walk out of the room, heading down the stairs. I let out a sigh. Tonight has been a really great night, despite falling asleep in the middle of our movie. I haven't felt this good in a while. I'd say it was because of Louis, but that isn't entirely true. It's partly because of the boy that's leading me to his car right now.

"Louis' mum is worried about you?" Daniel asks, opening the car door for me. I shrug, stepping inside and thanking him.

"No, it's Lou. He keeps texting me." I sigh, running a hand through my hair. My phone vibrates again.

"Oh...isn't he out with his friends?" He furrows his eyebrows as he climbs in, starting the car, the seats immediately heating my bum.

"He was, but I guess he came back home early." I say. Who knows what Louis did tonight? I'd be a little bit more concerned if I wasn't as drowsy and were alone for the night. When I'm around Daniel, I can't help but to forget about everything else. Just like when we were kids, Danny was my only concern. He was the one thing that took my pain away, even if it wasn't for long. He was my cure. Still is.

"Well, you'll be home in no time." Daniel sighs, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Thanks, Danny." I smile as I walk to the door, bidding Daniel a goodnight. I walk inside the door and see Louis sitting on the couch. He quickly jumps up when he sees me, his phone falling to the floor as he approaches me. His hair was messy and he was in sweatpants and a white tee.

"Where were you? I was worried sick!" He says. I kick my shoes off and take off my jacket.

"I was with Daniel, you know that." I breathe out. He glares at me.

"Until almost one in the morning?" He questions. I shrug at him. He looks angry, but he has no reason to be.

"Yeah, we were just hanging out. I told you. I texted you and you said you were going out with your friends." I tell him. He huffs out a breath.

"You could have at least answered me. I sent you like a dozen texts." He says, walking towards the living room.

"I'm sorry, okay? My phone wasn't on me." I say, following him.

"What were you doing that made you not have your phone with you? Didn't it ever occur to you that I'd call?" He says, his voice almost comes out as a whine.

"Actually, no. I didn't think so. You go out with your friends and stay out until like three in the morning and I don't hear a word from you all night." I throw back at him.

"I thought it'd be just the same."

"Don't turn this on me.... What did you two do tonight?" Louis asks. I frown at him.

"We just talked and watched movies."

"But you didn't have your phone for like....five hours?" He said. I frown and pull out my phone. No way five hours passed with me not answering his texts messages. I checked the time, realizing that it was true. I sigh and shrug.

"I'm sorry."

"Did you sleep with him?" He blurts out. I frown at him.

"No! Well, we fell asleep, but we didn't have...sex if that's what you're thinking! Why would you even ask me that?!" I shout. It was probably unnecessary, but that completely caught me off guard.

"Well, what am I suppose to think, Harry?! You're spending more time with him than me! I'm your boyfriend, not him!" He shouts back.

"Yeah, but you blow me off so you can go get high and drunk with your fucking friends all fucking night! I'm alone most of the time, Louis, and Danny's just being a good friend!" I huff at him. The nerve of him! He actually thought that I'd sleep with my best friend. I'd never ruin our relationship like that, I'd never do that to him. I don't even think I'm ready for that.

"You have some fucking nerve, Louis. How dare you assume that about me. I'd never betray you like that." I tell him.

I glance up at him and he has his head in his hands. He lets out a breath and shakes his head. He looks guilty and he should be. He looks at me with sorry eyes and approaches me again. I sigh, looking up to him.

"I'm really sorry. That was really stupid of me to say. I know you aren't like that...I was just being an idiot. I just...I want to spend some time with you. Is that okay?" He asks, grabbing my hands in his.

"You could have just said that." I mumble. He sighs and I pull my hands away, only to fall into his arms. His arms wrap tightly around my torso and he squeezes gently.

"I'm so sorry, love." He whispers, kissing my hair. I close my eyes, letting out a breath.

"Can we just go to bed? I'm tired." I tell him, a yawn escaping from my lips. I feel his hand rub against my back and he nods.

"Sure, love." He says.

I wrap my arms around his neck and hop into his arms. He presses a soft kiss to my lips and carries me to the bedroom. We lie down and I feel Louis' arm wrap around me and I snuggle into his warmth. He adds another kiss to my head and I bury my face into his shirt, his scent overtaking me.
