Chapter 51: Baby Showers

Early February
5 Months Later
Jessie's POV
I'm now almost 9 months pregnant and I look like I swallowed a watermelon.
College is going really well. My pregnancy hadn't kept me from my studies.
Speaking of the baby, I can't wait to meet my baby girl. I actually think Cody is even more excited. He keeps talking about how he's always gonna protect, play, support, and be there for his daughter. He always sings and talks toI my baby bump. He's gonna be such a good Daddy.
Alexa looks like she swallowed 3 watermelons. The boys always kick and it's fun to see her get excited when they do. She's due the same day as me, February 25th.
Our baby showers are tomorrow and I'm super excited. A lot of Cam's Vines and YouTube friends are gonna be there, which I'm excited for too.
The Next Day
I woke up earlier than usual from kicks and a little pain in my lower back. I pushed it away and got excited for the party. Cody was sleeping soundly next to me. I smiled and pecked his lips, making his eyes flutter open.
"Morning baby." He said in his sexy, raspy morning voice.
"Party time." I said with a smile.
He smiled back and rolled between my legs, head-level with my giant baby bump.
"Good morning princess. Daddy can't wait to see you." He whispered to my bump, lightly pecking the middle.
I giggled and she kicked, knowing she recognized his voice.
"Let's go get everyone up, have some breakfast and get ready." I said.
He nodded and we climbed out of bed. We woke Alexa up and she had a brilliant prank. We went out into the hallway that was connected to all the rooms.
"AHHHHH!!! MY WATER BROKE!!!!!" We screamed as loud as possible.
I heard people falling from their beds and running to get out. Everyone ran out of their rooms, panicking.
We couldn't stop laughing, Cam was the best.
"Haha very funny guys!" Addy said.
The 3 of us couldn't stop laughing. Soon, everyone else was.
Everyone went downstairs and we had waffles, eggs, and bacon.
The party was gonna here since they had a decent sized backyard. Cam, Brady, Carter, and JJ cleaned the house while Addy, Alexa, Cody, and I put up the decorations. Matt, Hayes, and Jack went to get the food and cake.
The baby kept kicking, harder than usual. It was a little painful, but I didn't want to cancel the party or anything.
Everything was set up and ready by 11, and the party was at 1.
I got in the shower and washed my hair and body. I dried off and chose my outfit: a navy blue and grey dress with navy blue flats. I curled my hair and did a little make-up. Cody came in with a light blue and white button up, khaki pants, and blue Converse, his hair in his usual quiff.
"You look beautiful baby." He said softly, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.
"You look pretty handsome yourself." I said.
He smiled and we kissed.
"Just think...In 2 weeks...We're gonna have our little girl..." he said.
I smiled and we both looked down at my bump. She kicked, which we both felt, and we smiled. I can't wait to meet my baby...
Once I was ready, we went downstairs and made sure everything was ready. People started coming at around 1. A ton of Viners and YouTubers were there: Shawn, Aaron, Taylor, Mahogany, Jc, Kian, Ethan & Grayson, Tez, Jake, and a lot more. Gina, Sierra, and Bryce were there too, including mine and Alexa's parents and siblings. The house was packed.
Everyone talked for a bit then we played a couple baby shower games. The best one by far was when we did the Balloon game were 5 guys had to stuff a balloon up their shirts and get it out without using their hands. Cam, Cody, Carter, Brady, and my brother Mikey played. Brady won by twisting his hips really fast. It was hilarious.
Then we had food and cake. Then, presents. We got a ton of diapers, clothes, shoes, bottles, pacifiers, wipes, a stroller, a car seat, a swing, a playpen, toys, and gift cards.
The baby kicked really hard and it hurt, but I pushed it away again.
"I have one more gift for Jessie." Cody said.
I was confused. We had pretty much everything. What else did he get?
Cody's POV
Here's goes nothin...
"Jessie, we met when we were only 4. The minute I saw you, I knew you were the one. We've been through so much together and I couldn't ask for a better best friends, girlfriend, and mother of my child. You're beautiful, smart, caring, loving, kind, funny, and I'd be crazy if I didn't wanna spend the rest of my life with you..." I said.
I got down on one knee and everyone gasped. Jessie cupped her hands over her mouth in shock.
Dad was the only one who knew, so he was recording it with his phone.
"Jessica Victoria Sullivan...Will you marry me?" I asked, pulling out a Diamond ring from my pocket.
She just started at me...Oh no...
"B-babe...?" I said.
"I-I think my water broke..." she said.
My eyes went wide and everyone gasped again.
"Oh my God..." Alexa said.
We looked over at her and she was staring at the floor, standing in a puddle of water. Her water broke too...
"We gotta get them to the hospital!!" Cam yelled.
Everyone went into panic mode and rushed out to their cars.
Jessie started getting contractions, so she started squeezing my hand and groaning in pain.
I got in the car with Jessie, Brady, and Carter. Cam, Alexa, and Addy went in the other. Everyone else went separately.
We sped to the hospital, and by then, Jessie was getting contractions more often.
We ran inside and Dad and I checked them in. We got our rooms, which were across the hall from each other. They changed Jessie into a hospital gown and she was in a bed, squeezing the life out of my hand. The doctor checked her and she was only 2cm, so she won't give birth for a while.
Her mom, Allison, and her sister, Mia, came a few minutes later.
"Ugh! This hurts so much!" Jessie groaned, grabbing my hand and her bump as a contraction hit.
"I know baby. Just take deep breaths." Allison said.
She clutched my hand as another contraction hit. Damn this girl has a grip...
After another hour of labor, she was only 3cm. This is gonna be a long night...
Cam's POV
Alexa is doing pretty good. She's in a little pain, but she's doing great. She's about 5cm, so we're halfway there.
"Ugh...The pressure is getting worse..." Alexa groaned, gripping my hand.
"It's okay baby. You're doing great." I said.
I can't wait to see my boys...
