Chapter Thirty-Eight - Scares

Cam's POV
It's been almost 2 hours and I'm a wreck. I don't know if Cody is okay. It's killing me right now.
"Cayden Dallas?" a nurse called out.
I stood up and walked over to her.
"Your son will be fine. He woke up and is recovering. However, his leg was very injured. It was a clean break and one piece cut the skin. He needed 17 stitches and will be in a cast for the next month and a half." she said.
I nodded.
"Would you like to see him?" she asked.
I nodded and followed the nurse to a room where Cody was lying on a bed in a light blue cast.
"Dad!" he said, a smile spreading across his face.
"Hey buddy. You okay now?" I asked, sitting next to him.
"Good. It hurts a little." he said, looking down at his cast.
"Well, good news is, your team won." I said.
He smiled.
"You should be okay for basketball season." I said.
"Good. But I wanna try Hockey too." he said.
"Shawn could help with that." I said.
"I haven't seen him in a while. He's been on tour a lot." Cody said.
"Well, he's going to be moving to LA in a few months." I said.
Really?!" he said with the biggest smile I've ever seen.
I smiled and nodded.
I let him rest and said I'll be back later. He would be going home tomorrow morning.
I went back out to everyone and told them he was fine. They were relieved. We went home and relaxed.
2am
Addy's POV
I was woken up by my phone ringing. It was an unknown number.
Phone Convo
A- H-hello?
U- I know where you are Addy. You better watch out. I'm coming for you and your brothers.
End of Convo
I didn't recognize the person's voice. It was like a robot. I was really scared.
I heard a crash downstairs, and almost had a heart attack. I hid under my bed and curled up into a ball. I heard footsteps come up the stairs. I barely breathed.
It stepped into my room. Now I really wasn't breathing.
"Addy...I'm here..." someone said, teasingly.
I looked at the floor and the person was gone. All of a sudden, I felt someone grab my ankles. I screamed, but the person quickly covered my mouth. It was a guy...
"You're mine now." he said with a smirk.
I screamed and cried.
"Addy! Wake up!"
Matt's POV
I woke up to Addy screaming. I jumped out of bed and ran to her room. She was squirming in her bed. crying.
"Addy! Wake up!" I said, shaking her.
She kept crying, until all of a sudden, she jolted up. She started crying again.
"Shh. It's okay. You're okay." I said, picking her up.
"Th-there's a b-bad m-man co-coming to g-get me!" she cried, stuttering.
"No there isn't. You're safe. You're with us." I said, rubbing her back.
She kept sobbing, until I finally got her to calm down. I laid with her until she fell asleep. I ended up falling asleep with her.
