it wasn't uncommon for wonwoo to recognize a customer in the streets of seoul. a lot of them were regular customers that kept the coffee shop standing to this day.

but she wasn't a regular customer. that first time she walked into the coffee shop was the last time wonwoo had seen her. he honestly hadn't thought that he would ever see her again, nor had he really given her much thought.

it was maybe a week after, as he and some other friends had gone out to buy groceries for their dorm. having thirteen boys in a single dorm meant frequent lack of supplies and frequent trips to the store. the three of them--wonwoo, seungcheol, and junhui--were on their way back from the store. they were chatting, wonwoo walking backwards to be able to see their faces.

in the midst of their laughter, seungcheol's expression changed and he pointed at something behind wonwoo. "watch out," he tried to warn his dongsaeng. just as wonwoo turned around to see what it was, he collided into the person.

art materials fell to the ground, some pencils and paintbrushes rolling into the street, out of reach. a glass bottle of paint shattered and paint splattered.

"aish! watch where you're going, pabo," she muttered as picked up the materials that she could.

"sorry," wonwoo apologized as he bent down to help the girl. even before he could see her face, he knew that she was familiar. the bright red and orange in her hair made it easy to remember her. he picked up a blue and green paint stained drawing book and a few other things. seungcheol and junhui, too, went to help.

they handed her her things and she took them back gratefully. it was only then when she looked up and saw wonwoo. "oh, it's you," she realized. "you're that coffee guy."

"coffee guy?" wonwoo wondered aloud.

"yeah. you made my americano at the coffee shop last time," she said.

"yeah, no, i remember you," he muttered. he was just surprised that she remembered him.

"well, it was... interesting to see you again," she muttered. "i should go now." she bowed slightly before walking off.

"wonwoo, you know her?" seungcheol asked.

wonwoo nodded, watching as the girl disappeared from his view. he turned to his hyungs and suggested that they head back before the other guys start looking for them. they agreed and started walking. wonwoo followed after, looking back at where the girl had disappeared to.

wonwoo didn't think she had noticed or cared that her white vans shoes and ripped blue jeans had blue and green paint splattered on them.
