there they were again, back in the place they first met. she used to pull him out of work to have him sit with her as she drank her coffee. this time, he wasn't working part time at the coffee shop.
it had been three years ago when he and his friends debuted as idols. the time passed by well and they were doing good. they had gotten an all-kill for their last comeback and they were given a two-month break from the heavy schedule.
wonwoo had finally had time to take her out on a date. the last time had been so long, sometime before their group had really blown up. they had met just a little after the debut. they were friends first before he asked lisa out on a date.
he sat facing the entrance, seeing the couple before they could see him.
"noona! hyung!" he called to get their attention.
"oh, jeon wonwoo! kim lisa!" she greeted them, pulling her boyfriend along as she walked over. "how are you guys?"
"we're doing well," lisa answered, sending her unnie a pleasant smile. "how about you two?"
"we're alright," ga eul muttered. she turned to her boyfriend, telling him to order for them already before grabbing a seat right next to wonwoo.
she watched as yi jeong walked over to the counter. something on her hand caught wonwoo's eye.
"noona, is that what i think it is?"
lisa looked over, curious. "oh, unnie, it's so pretty!"
"i know, right? he proposed last night." her expression was dreamy as she reminisced the moment.
"aww, i'm so happy for you," lisa muttered, then turned to look at wonwoo. "i'm wondering when that will happen to me." she pouted, joking. the three of them just laughed.
yi jung joined them at the table, handing ga eul her order. caramel macchiato, her favorite.
"you told them already? i thought we'd tell them together." he pouted, earning a kiss from his girl.
"they saw the ring. i'm sorry." she giggled.
yi jung looked to wonwoo. "so, what about you two?"
wonwoo's face turned a shade of red, alongside lisa's. though she made a joke about it earlier, they didn't think they were ready for that. "it's only been a few months, hyung," wonwoo excused. "my fans don't even know about our relationship yet. to them, we're only friends." lisa agreed.
yi jung shrugged. "i guess i understand," he muttered. "but i'll be sad if you don't get to where me and ga eul are." he looked at his fiancée the same way wonwoo thought he looked at his own girlfriend.
wonwoo was proud of her. the colorful girl had settled on the one color that fit her best. song yi jung was right for her.
