her hair had changed color again. from the darker violet that she had, it was now a lilac color. or was it lavender? wonwoo couldn't tell the difference between those two colors. she had mentioned the difference before when he watched her paint again one day but he was still confused.

he expected the change in color, but he wasn't expecting it change so soon. it had only been two weeks since the last time she had changed her hair color. wonwoo could only chuckle to himself when she walked into the coffee shop.

"don't keep dying your hair," he told her as she came up to the counter. "you'll run out of colors. or maybe you'll run out of hair."

she made a face, clearly unamused by his comment. "i can always repeat a color," she retorted. "and i don't always dye my hair." wonwoo raised an eyebrow. "i only do it when i feel like changing the color."

he laughed. "so you always feel like changing the color," he concluded.

"well, it depends on my mood." she shrugged. "but i like this color. i think i'll keep it this way for a while."

"you're just worried your hair will start falling off your head," he teased.

she rolled her eyes. "shut up. now, i came here to buy a drink."

wonwoo nodded. "do you want your americano hot or iced?" he asked, fingers hovering over the screen as he waited for her answer.

she shook her head. "neither. i'll have an iced vanilla latte."

he was confused for a bit. she had always ordered the americano before. not once had he seen her get a different kind of drink. he figured she just wanted to try something new and so he decided not to think too much of it. she handed him the payment as he punched in the order. he handed her the change then proceeded to make the drink. another customer came in and headed towards the counter, and one of the other employees took over the cash register duty.

wonwoo finished preparing the drink and handed it to gaeul. "enjoy." she nodded before muttering a quick goodbye and walking out of the shop.

wonwoo's gaze lingered at the door for a second or so before he went to prepare the other customer's drink. mingyu walked up to wonwoo, who seemed to be in a daze as the customer walked off.

"what's wrong, hyung?"

wonwoo shrugged. "i don't know," he muttered. "it's probably nothing." he wasn't going to dwell on it. it probably really didn't mean anything.
