Realms of Light and Shadow (Stingue)

Rogue's POV

I open my eyes, and I sit up against the cold dark grey wall, only to realize that I was trapped in a somewhat dark room. The room had no door, but it had metal bars.

I was in some kind of dungeon.

Are you kidding me?

Ugh, I should've listened to Mom and just stayed home. I shouldn't have gone back looking for that boy from earlier.

Why did I do that??

I suddenly heard a noise from a distance.

"So how did you find him?" I heard someone ask.

"We found him in the woods earlier," I heard Weisslogia say.

I then see Weisslogia along with the same boy from earlier.

I recognize that blond hair and those bright blue eyes.

I then see Weisslogia leave the boy as he observed me.

My wings spread open, making me appear more intimidating.

It's a dragon thing...

I always knew that it wouldn't work, but Mom told me to do so whenever I feel "threatened" or whatever...

My hands were engulfed by shadows, but I knew that I couldn't attack him.

I could see his white wings, but they remained folded, indicating that he was calm.

I was releasing a low dragon-like growl, but he remained practically the same.

He was not growling or hissing back like what a normal dragon would, which was weird. And then I decided to just calm down a bit.

"Hi! I'm Sting! Who are you?" The boy smiled brightly.

"D-don't play dumb with me!" I felt myself blush when I saw him smile. I also calmed down a little bit.

"Aww you're boring, Rogue."

It was the first time he said my actual name, and it felt kinda weird.

I just didn't say anything in reply, and I just glared at him.

"Geez, you're kinda scary," Sting added.

I just smirked.

"You're kinda cute too." His eyes widened right after he said that.

"What?" I ask in shock.

"Um-uh, nothing! Nothing!" Sting says frantically while... Blushing?

I stood there blankly while he walked clumsily back from where he came, often tripping over his own feet.

It actually kinda made me laugh.

Ugh what am I thinking?! He's one of our enemies!

He could've killed me if he wanted to.

I wouldn't be stuck here if I just listened to Mom. I shouldn't have gone back to the woods.

Why did I go back?

I had to.

But seriously, why?

I don't know.

But there's just something about him.

I don't know what it is though.
