"uh huh, okay, yeah fine, mm, yeah okay. Thanks professor oak, ill be right there", these were the words that serena woke up to. She immediately knew that it was ash on the phone. "professor oak ? Dosent he stay in kanto. Then does that mean that ash was going to leave right away", serena thought to herself worriedly. She immediately rushed out of the room, not even bothering to change into her regular day clothes. "ash !", she sceamed as she opened the door. "yeah serena, is anything wrong ?", he asked confused as he wondered why serena yelled so loud in the morning. "oh yeah, um its nothing.......... Where you going", she slowly asked as she looked down in embarrasment as to why she yelled. "oh im heading to the Pokemon centre right now. Professor oak sent my charizard over", ash replied. "oh so that's what he ment when he said that 'he'll be right over'", serena thought to herself as she breathed out a sigh if relief. "um serena ?", ash asked,waving his hands in front of serenas face, breaking her out of her thoughts. "oh sorry..... I kinda blanked out there", serena replied blishing from embarrasment. "oh well i asked you if you wanted you come along with me", ash replied grinning. "oh sure id love to", serena replied clappping her hands together. "and like as if i would miss a chance to witness the great ash ketchums stronhest Pokemon", serena said jokingly. "i know right, who wouldn't", ash replied, jokingly as well. "lemme just go get ready real quick", serena said as she ran back to the room. "okay", serena heard ash reply.

"'id love to huh' .. Hmph, would've been better if you said 'i love you'", bonnie told serena, smirking as she entered the room. "you were seriously standing here and listening to what we were saying", serena asked, annoyed. "yep", bonnie cheerfully smiled. "well im gonna go with ash now so im gonna get ready. Wait, you probably already know that", serena sarcastically said as she went to the bathroom to get ready.
when she got out of the bathroom, all set and ready to go, bonnie pulled serena in for a tight hug. "what are you doing", serena asked confused. "oh sorry.... I thought you liked it", bonnie replied sarcastically, trying to immitate ash. Serena blushed on hearing what bonnie said. "yo-you saw what we did las-last night", serena nervously asked. "i dunno, what did you guys do last night", bonnie asked, smirking. "ugh", serena shrugged. "we'll be back by dinner", sbe said as she ran out of the room. "have fun on your date", bonnie said quite loudly. These words made serena stop, but she just continued and left the room

"you ready", ash asked with a smile as soon as he saw serena. "yep lets go", serena said they both left th house and made their way to the Pokemon centre. On the way there, ash didn't look while crossing the road and he was suddenly pulled back by serena. Right then a trruck speeded by right in front of ash's face, knowcking down his hat. "thanks for that", ash said, rubbing the bqfk of his head. "you gotta be more careful ash", serena said in a worried tone. "yeah i will", ash said as he strected his amr out for serena to hold. Serena fell down while she pulled ash away from the truck. Serena refeiged his hand and ash pulled her up. They then reached the Pokemon centre, without any other obstacles. "hey nurse joy, did you receive a package from professor oak", ash asked as soon and he entered the Pokemon centre. "oh, then you must be ash ketchum", nurse joy replied. "the one and only", serena joked. "i did receive a package, here you go", nurse joy said as she handed ash the box. "thanks nurse joy, bye", ash said as he received the package and left the Pokemon centre. "they made their way to the place where ash would usually train and they opened the package. Inside it was a pokeball, charuzards pokeball. There was a note along with it. It was from professor oak. "dear ash. I really don't know why you suddenly asked for your Pokemon, but whatever it is, good luck", it read. Ash then let out all his Pokemon to get ready to meet charizard before he let it out of his pokeball. Serena thought that she would do the same and she did. They all stood there, ash, serena, and their Pokemon. Ash then puched the button on the centre of his pokeball and charizard came out. "cha-ri-zard !", the giant draconic Pokemon yelled. All of ash's Pokemon looked at him in awe. "its good to see you again cha- AAAAHHHHHHHHHH", ash yelled as he was burned by his charizards flamethrower. Greninja got ready to strike after this but ash told him that it was okay and that this a a thing between himself and charizard. Greninja then called down a little, but then charizard shot a look at greninja and greninja stared at charizard back. They both became rivals on sight. "Hey guys i would like you to meet my good friend charizard", ash said as he showed charixard to his Pokemon. "hawlu", "Vern", "taloo", "gre", greninja smirked. "charizard was one of my Pokemon on my original team", ash said patting his charizard. "i would like you to meet my Pokemon", serena said as she her Pokemon both smiled. "cham cham", pancham yelled. "braixen", braixen said. As soon as charizard saw braixen, he started blushing and made his way closer to braixen. Charizard was immediately hit in the face by greninjas water pulse. After the attack, greninja stood in front of braixen with his arms spread, in a protective stance. Ash and serena were quite confused as in why the usually cool greninja was now acting this way. Ash quickly called back his two Pokemon into their pokeballs. "well i guess ill have to deal with that later", ash sighed. "im sure they'll get along", serena reassured ash. "yeah well i hope you're right", ash said. "we should probably get going", ash added. "yeah okay", serena said. "return pancham", she said as she called back her Pokemon. "c'mon braixen", serena smiled at her Pokemon. Braixen just stood there, with a blank expression and a slight blush on her face. "great, he's even more dense than his Pokemon", serena thought to herself and sighed. "c'mon braixen", she said again with a smile. This time braixen noticed its trainer and followed.

"hey bonnie, do you know where ash and serena are ?", clemint asked his little sister as he got up and left his room to make breakfast. "oh they just went a a little date", bonnie said and gigggled. "what ?", clemont asked confused. "well its obvious that they love each other bro. I mean they told me so themselves. But they're just too afraid to tell each other", bonnie explained. "well i didn't notice anything", clemont said thinking. "well that's coz you're as denze as ash", bonnie replied. "that's why i need to find you a girl", bonnie added giggling. "ugh", clemont sighed as he went to the kitchen to make breakfast. "so i guess ill just help him then", he said to himself smiling. "hey you can help him all you want, but you heard nothing from me", bonnke said. "yeah i got it". Clemont replied to the sizzling sound of bacon.

"hey could you not tell bonnie and clemont about charizard please... Its still suppose to be a surprise right", ash grinned. "yeah sure, bjt the thing is that bonnie heard what we were talking about and probably knows about your charizard. She probably told clemont to", serena replied trying not to disapoint ash."oh well, its probably best they know", ash said. They reached clemonts house and rang on the doorbell. Bonnie answers the door, smirked at them and then went back into the kitchen. Ash and serena went inside and remoged their shoes. "hey clemont", they both said as they made their way into the kitchen. "hey guys, whereve you been", clemont asked them. "oh i just went to go and bring my charizard. That's my sixth Pokemon for the league", ash replied. "bonnie was telling me something about that", clemont replied. "well anyways, enjoy your breakfast", he replied, as he gave serena and ash their plates. "me and bonnie already ate", he added. "thanks clemont", ash said. They ate their lunch and ash decided to go and take a nap in his room for a while. The rest of the gang stayed outside and watched Tv. Ash woke up after about an hour and decided to do some training. He got out of bed and went outside the room. He noticed that everyone was gone. There was a note on the sofa which said that the rest of the gang were where ash usually does his training. Ash decided to go there as well since that was what he was going to do anyways.

At the place, serena, bonnie and clemont were just sitting there on a bench and were eating icecream. "hey", ash yelled waving his hands as he came running up. "hey", everybody yelled and waved back as well. "why did you guys suddenly come here", ash asked. "well we thought that we could walk, talk and get some ice cream", bonnie replied, while eating her ice cream. "oh ok that's fin- HEY WAIT A MINUTE what about me..... Where's my ice cream", ash replied. "well you do have to do your training", clemont replied, giggling. "ugh fine", ash sighed as he went to go and do his training. "you know ash, charizard and grwninja would make a pretty sick team", serena started off. "yeah so ?", ash replied. "well it may come pretty handy in the team battles round in the league", serena said. "team battle round ?", ash asked confuse. "yes ash, team battle round. Everything about the kalos league is right here in this pamphlet, didn't you read it when nurse joy gave it to you", serena asked. "pamphlet ?", ash asked, still confused. "well the first three rounds are team battles and the last three are full team, one on one battles", clemont intervened. "oh ok, i get it now", ash replied, still sounding a bit confused. "the team rounds will consist of two main Pokemon and one substitute in case any of your Pokemon faint. Once all of a persons Pokemon aren't able to battle, the other person will be declared winner". "ohhhh ok..... NOW i get it", ash exclaimed. Ok come on out greninja, charizard.

"charizard ?", a boy with purple hair and a blue scarf, whispered to himself from the distance, on hearing ash scream.
