Hermione's p.o.v




I stopped mid sentence not wanting to say who I like. Its embarrassing,

"Who Hermione?" I looked down blushing,

"I don't love him it's just a crush..." I said looking up at her, she smiled at me

"That's fine Hermione love is a big word" I nodded and took a deep breath,

"Draco" I whispered looking down feeling ashamed, I looked back up at her about 10 seconds later to see her staring at me wide eye.

"When?" Was all she said, I sighed thinking about the time I admitted to myself I liked him

Flashback

I was in the library studying for my end of half term test in muggle studies when I herd someone clear there throat, I looked up to see Malfoy. I raised my eyebrow at him and asked

"What do you want Malfoy?" He sat down next to me nervously which I've never seen him do, sit down next to ME and be nervous. He looked at me in the eyes and whispered

"I want to learn muggle studies"

"WHAT?!"

"Shhhh!, I want to learn muggle studies or did your big ears not hear me" I rolled my eyes at him not knowing at what else to do, I mean this is Draco Malfoy a muggle hater.

"Why did you come to me" I asked looking back down at my book, I didn't really have time for this.

"Your a mudblood-" my head snapped up at that a I glared at him whisper-shouted,

"Don't come over to me and tell me you want MY help and call my that foul evil word Draco Malfoy!"

He looked and me shocked but nodded, his eyes not meeting mine.

"So will you?" He asked after about 20 seconds of awkward silence, I looked up at him and glared at him,

"Why would I help you? You out of all people, the person who has bullied me since he first found out I was a muggle-born?"

"Hermione-" I went wide eye once again he's never called me by my first name but I like the way it sounds when he says it.... What the fuck Hermione? I asked myself

" I mean Granger, I've always found muggle's interesting, I've just never been allowed to say so my family would kill me. I've been wanting to come to you all year but I've just got the guts to"

"Why don't you ask Juls?" I said

" your a mud- sorry muggle born"

"Why don't you ask Professor Burbage?" I asked, he looked down and said

"I have, she told me to come to you for help, said you were top of the class" he said rolling his eyes at the end. I glared at him

"Oh and also she told me if you do this you will get extra credit" he added with smirk, I sighed, everyone knows I'll do anything for extra credit even Draco Malfoy.

"I'll think about it"

"Hermione, please please" I looked at him shocked, he called me by my first name and said please. What in the name of Merlin has gotten in to him.

"Yes", What!!! Where did that come from??

"Really?!" He said shocked and smiled, I'd never seen him smile, yes he had smirked but not smiled. I liked his smile it was warm and friendly, okay Hermione shut the hell up!

"Yes, but on one condition"

"What?"

"You don't tell anyone about this AND don't bully me anymore nor Ron and Harry" he looked at me as if I was crazy

"Not take the piss out of Potter and Weasley?" I nodded,

"Come on Draco, Harry is Juliet's boyfriend and Ron is her best friend you can't hate them forever"

"You called me Draco?" He said his eyes warm, not cold. I looked away cause I could feel heat rushing to my face and I didn't know why.

"Yes, if I'm going to be your tutor I'll call you by your name" I said smiling at him, he smiled back,

"Thank you Hermione this means a lot to me" heat rushed to my face again so I just nodded and picked my book up and put in in front of my face to hide it. I herd him chuckle, then I could hear him get up, I pecked over the top of my book to see him smiling down at me.

"Meet me here tomorrow?" He asked I nodded and hid my face in my book again.

flashback over

"Hermione?!"

"What?"

"I asked you when?"

"Oh right sorry about three weeks ago" I said blushing again, Juls smiled at me

"It's such a shock, a nice shock but still I shock" she said I nodded agreeing with her.

"So are you going to tell him?"

"WHAT??!! Fuck no" I said, is she fucking crazy?

"Okay okay, not need to fucking swear Mione" I nudged her lightly rolling my eyes.

I'm glad I've told Juls so it's not all on my chest now. But I can't believe that I, Hermione Jean Granger fancy thee
