He stood there with his hand out for me to grab, his smile very kind revealing his dimples his blue eyes shimmering in the night sky wearing a fancy tuxedo, my mom was right about one thing: this guy sure as hell is attractive. And i sure as hell do not like him. But what she probably didn't know is that I already knew him.

I grabbed his hand and got out of the limo, when i got out I was greeted by cameras flashing. He put his arm around my waist and smiled at the cameras. After we both smiled at the cameras and acted happy together we walked into the big building. It was very clearly a private building and a table had been set for him and I.

"Kate Isles, I did not expect it to be you" he said as we sat down across each other at the table

"Luke Adams, what an unpleasant surprise" I greeted

"So I am marrying you?" He asked rudely

"Oh I wish not, why did you agree to this?"

"I didn't my dad forced me but you could have backed out right?"

"Oh you don't know my parents" I said

"Well you do look nice, or at least nicer than last time"

What happened last time -high school

"Hey Kate look at the new guy, isn't he hot?"I looked at the guy that my friend Jess was pointing out

"Yeah" I said dreamy "he is soo hot Jess" the new guy looked at Jess and I, brushed a hand through his hair and winked

"Did you just see that, he winked at me Kate, it's love at first sight"

"Jess, he winked at me"Jess pushed me rudely

"No Kate"I pushed her back. We were in the cafeteria and Jess got pushed into someones plate of mash

"Oh no you didn't" she said taking a bowl of spaghetti Bolognese throwing it over my head

"Jess!" I yelled annoyed "my hair took hours to do" I grabbed someone's mash and gravy and pressed it onto Jess's face

"Ladies, ladies I know I'm hot but don't fight over me" Luke Adams , the school Jock grabbed two cans of soda and threw it over our heads "FOOD FIGHT" he yelled and everyone started throwing food. He then took two eggs that he got somewhere and threw it on both Jess and I "now you look better anyway!"

The school principal barged in at that moment and grabbed both Luke and I by our wrists but Jess had disappeared somehow, he dragged us to his office and sat us down on two chairs.

"Luke Adams and Kate Isles what a pleasant surprise, so I already know that you two started the food fight so please don't say that you didn't"

"Sir, if I may, I am late for cross country" Luke said standing up

"You may" the principal let Luke leave

"Sir, I am late for gymnastics" I said standing up

"Sit miss Isles" of course Luke could leave, he is everyone's favourite buy I had to sit there an listen to the principal, go to 10 detentions and also clean the entire cafeteria all by myself

"You look terrible Luke, the years have not done you any good" I said in a polite tone of voice

"Thank you? So how is this thing gonna work?" He said leaning in

"I don't know, all I know is that you have to propose by next week Thursday"

He started laughing "I'll get you a ring but I sure as hell won't propose"

" you have to, press will be there" I said "why Luke Adams?" I muttered under my breath

The waitress came to us and Luke grabbed my hand "what can I get you?" The waitress asked

"Well, my girlfriend will have spaghetti Bolognese" Luke said as he pulled my hand to his mouth and kissed it

"And my boyfriend will have the salmon salad" I said pulling my hand away as lightly as possible so that the waitress won't notice what I'm doing.

"A salmon salad? Seriously?" Luke asked after he let go of my hand and the waitress left

"You need to lose weight" I said calmly as I picked up my wine

"I don't think you want to do that" Luke said as he pointed to the wine

"Why, is it poisoned?"

"No it's just that it's better for alcoholics like you to drink less" I picked up my wine glass and drank it all up

"If I have to deal with you then I might just become one" I said as I poured myself a full glass of wine "I hope you don't want any" I said as the waitress returned

"Ma'am I am so sorry but we don't have any spaghetti, would you like a different tipe of pasta" the waitress asked. I looked at Luke

"You know what, I am not actually hungry but I would like another bottle of wine" I looked over at Luke and back at the waitress "make that 3" I smiled at her shocked face
And she left without another word

"Thank you for paying for my wine honey, You see us alcoholics don't like paying for our own stuff" I thought back to highschool "oh and I will accept this as an apology for making me go to detention for you in highschool"

He started to chuckle as the waitress brought us 3 bottles of wine "thank you but my girlfriend was just kidding" Luke said to the waitress which instantly made her look relieved

"But we will keep one bottle" I said as I grabbed a bottle from her arms and she left right after that

"Wait!" Luke stopped her " can you please bring my girlfriend a salmon salad?" The waitress simply nodded and walked away

"You are making her run up and down Luke I didn't want anything to eat"

"You look hungry and I guessed the salmon salad was something you like"I took a sip of water

"Luke, why do you care?"

"Maybe this is my way of saying sorry for making you go to detention for me a few years ago. What... you look confused, what's wrong?"

"Luke" I looked around the room "what are you doing?"

"I'm sitting?" He said but it sounded more like a question

"You are acting-"

"Here are both of your salmon salads" I stood up and bumped the waitress in a way that makes the food fall on Luke "oh sir I am so sorry I didn't mean to do that"

"It's ok" I said "I actually have to go anyway, bye dear" I started walking out but stopped at the door and turned around "oh and please clean yourself before I see you again, I know you don't like showers but please" the waitresses mouth hung open and she stepped away from Luke.

I know this chapter was unexpected but I hope there aren't any problems.
