Chapter 23

"Iñigo what are you doing here?" I said in fear as I slowly backed away from him.

"Dianne-" he tried to step closer.

"Stay where you are. Get out." I said.

"You don't want me to move but you tell me to go? What do you mean?" He asked.

"Just... Go! I don't want to see you." I said. He took one last look at Liam and went to the door.

My eyes couldn't meet Iñigo's. Not after what he's done.

"Just go please?" I said and he shook his head. "Dianne, face me... I'm sorry" Iñigo said. No. How dare he say sorry and expect me to forgive him that easily.

"Do you think its that easy to forgive and forget? You're my best friend Iñigo! How could you? You almost killed the love of my life!" I said as calmly as possible so people outside wouldn't hear.

Iñigo cringed at "love of my life" but I ignored that. I mentally shook my head. Iñigo should realize that,

No mater how hard you've fallen,

Don't expect to be loved back.

"Dianne please just.. Forgive me.. How many times do I have to say it?" Iñigo pleaded once again.

"Leave, Iñigo."

"Fine, but.. Promise me you won't talk to Liam." Iñigo said. I let out a sarcastic laugh at his pathetic words.

"Won't talk to Liam? Me? After you beat him up senseless?" I spat at him.

"Leave, Iñigo. Please, just leave." I said as I looked at Liam.

"You broke our hearts..." I continued.

"Dianne, please I'm sorry I.. I'll go back to being best friends with you! I'll stop liking you I'll um I'll do anything just... To not lose you too.." Iñigo said. My heart broke a little and I'm in riddles. But I still won't forgive him.

"You lost me the moment you hurt Liam." I said.

"I can't.. I can't lose you too please Dianne, if I didn't have you there would be nothing left.." Iñigo said, defeated.

"Stop it. LEAVE." I said sternly this time because I really wanted him to leave. One, he's being noisy and two, I'm not.. I'm not comfortable being around him anymore.

"I'm really sorry..." Iñigo said before closing the door behind him. I let out a breathe of relief and sat down beside Liam.

"Liam I know you're awake." I said as my lima bean slowly opened his eyes.

"Hey" he said with a smile.

"What's up" I teased.

"Hello" he answered.

"Are you okay now? Well,obviously not.. I'm sorry um stupid i-"

"Hey you're not stupid. Come here." Liam said as he slowly tried to hug me from him weird position on the bed.

"Can we not talk about what just happened? I don't want to talk about.. Him.." I requested. "Of course, anything for you" Liam said.

"I heard Louis and Harry talking awhile ago, they're moving the tour." Liam said. "What?! Why? I mean, there's no more tour?" I asked, clearly shocked.

"No babe, just moved it 3 months from now. And we can't come back home since I'm not that strong to travel yet and my condition isn't allowed on planes." Liam said and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Where will you guys stay?" I asked.

"Co Hotel." Liam answered briefly and I nodded slowly.

"What do we do now?" I asked.

"Well, I don't know when I'll get out.. So I'm practically useless till then. You should get home and rest" Liam smiled at me and I shook my head no.

"No I'm staying here" I said stubbornly. Liam was about to speak when the door suddenly opened and in came Larry.

"Hey how's our little boy doing?" Louis smiled as they all crowded around Liam. "I'm okay, BOY" Liam said, giving emphasis on the word "boy".

"Hey you watch your mouth, little boy. This guy here is a lad." Louis teased. "Oh shut up, both of you are stupid. How are you lima?" Harry smiled at Liam and Louis rolled his eyes. "I'm alright now I guess.. Just kind of sore." Liam said. "When can you get out of here? The food sucks." I asked.

"In about 3 days, he'll be good to go." The doctor said as he entered the room on cue. "And he isn't allowed to have visitors yet" the doctor smirked at us. "Hehe... Right... We'll see you soon, Li." Louis said as he squeezed Liam's hand and Harry did the same.

"Take care of yourself, we'll come back when it's the visitor's time to visit, okay?" I smiled at Liam and he just nodded. "You okay?" I asked. He shook his head and pulled me closer to him, to the point that we were hugging.

"You take care of yourself. I don't want to lose you. Promise me you won't talk to Iñigo while I'm not with you, please." Liam pleaded in my ear.

"I promise." I whispered. He nodded and kissed my forehead.

"See you soon, princess." I heard Liam slowly say as I exited his room.
