"We agreed three months!" I shouted at my phone. Management just called to say that they needed us back in the studio in LA in less than two weeks.

I still had two months to spare but they want the time to be used "productively" so we're going to start recording our next album.

"What do you mean you're sorry? This means a lot to me so please just let me go this once. I love this girl with me and this will probably be the last time I'll ever be with her. These three months could change my life" I pleaded.

"Why start something you can't finish Liam? You know you can't stay with the girl. You're letting her down. You leave soon. We'll get you tickets home and we expect to see all of you back home, Liam. Specially you." Management said calmly.

"What if I don't want to?" I stubbornly said. "Then say goodbye to your contract" Management said and ended the call.

I buried my hand in my head and prayed for some kind of miracle to happen.

Dianne then entered our hotel room with her friend Emer who just arrived a couple days ago.

"Hi" I said to both of them and kissed Dianne's cheek. Emer waved and I waved back.

"So... Where is Niall?" Emer said and Niall jumped out of the kitchen.

"Oh my I didn't mean that literally I thought you weren't here I'm sorry I didn't know I'm just gonna leave bye Dianne bye Liam b-" Emer said but got cut off by Niall. "Hi I'm Niall. Don't worry I get it" he smiled at Emer as they shook hands. I smiled as we watched the scene unfold in front of me. Dianne and I walked to the terrace.

"Dianne. You know I would never want to hurt you right?" I said. Just say that you're leaving.

"Yes I know that" Dianne smiled as she leaned her head on my shoulder. She was still smiling and oblivious to everything. It made my stomach spin in guilt.

"I wont ever let you go easily. It would take lots to separate you and I" I said and she nodded. "Except for management" Dianne said. I froze. She knew? "Just kidding" she laughed and I laughed. Uneasily.

I would love to take Dianne with me but there are many problems. Number one would be her parents. They'd never let me go with her alone. Number two is her education. Her school starts in a month and I couldn't let her skip that. And most importantly, she grew up here. I can't let her leave where she belongs.

She belongs here even though her heart left a piece in mine.

"You know I'm so lucky to have you Liam" Dianne said as she looked at the view in front of us. Nothing spectacular, just the bay and the horizon set perfectly.

"Why is that?" I teased.

"Because I have someone in my life that won't let me down. Someone down to earth that I can lean on. Someone who is true" Dianne said and I felt guilty again. I'll tell her soon, don't worry. In the right time, I will.

"I'm blessed to have you too." I said. "I never thought I'd meet someone as stubborn as you" we laughed. "But I wouldn't have it any other way. You're perfect for me. I'm nothing to you but I want to spend my whole life with you" I confessed.

"I want you to be the one I see my parents with. I want you to be the one I marry. I want you to be the one I see my kids grow up with. I want you to be the one I sing to every night. I want you to be the one I see first thing in the morning. I want you and only you, Dianne." I said and I hugged her from behind.

"Don't leave me please. Ever. No matter what happens." She said.

"I won't" I lied.
