luke finding it completely amusing rather than terrifying that he's the new kid in school because he can read minds, hear people's thoughts when he wants to, so when he stands at the doorway in homeroom and he hears the girls thoughts of 'he's so hot' he smiles to himself so he plops down next to a cute boy with bright red hair who looks kinda nervous so luke listens 'of course he's put next to me, fuck' and luke is half confused 'hey, i'm luke' and the boy jumps and looks over 'h-hey. michael.' and luke smiles 'good going, stuttering to the hot kid' and luke snorts, before covering it with a cough so for the rest of the day luke listens to michael's thoughts that consist of things about him and also about pokemon, which makes luke snort again but he soon realizes how sad michael is, how he hurts himself at home because he feels like he doesn't deserve any love, and even if it is butting into his business he thinks of a plan.
