luke's eyes filling with sadness and pain when they fall to the floor because the one boy he loved was asked to prom and he was going to ask him so now calum was kissing niall on the cheek and people were cheering, all except luke, whose eyes actually started watering before he slouched and walked away and it's the end of the day in the locker room because practice just finished and luke can hear calum gushing about niall to the other sophomores and he just bites his tongue as ashton and michael look at him with pity because they were part of the promposal plan but luke just shakes his head at them 'guys..i'm fine okay?' and mashton looks at each other before keeping their mouths closed and here comes calum and the sophomore is about to gush to his senior friend luke when he sees him looking upset 'hey luke, what's wrong? you look upset.' and luke just sighs, getting his bag and looking at michael ashton and calum 'i'll see you guys later.' and he walks out, leaving calum feeling like he did something.
