he was about to ask luke out when he noticed he was pretty distracted, counting in the cash register and then looking up straight, mouthing the words he was thinking and then his eyes light 'mum!! only $427 more!!' and ashton can hear a faint woman's voice but then asks 'till what?' and luke jumps and ashton grins 'sorry' 'it's fine' he giggled 'we've been uh..trying to uh..well it's complicated..' and ashton frowns and nods when he scratches the back of his head but then smiles 'can i ask you something?' and luke nods 'do you maybe wanna..go out some time? i know this fancy place downtown' and luke smiles and blushes 'yeah..s-sure.' and they set it all up with a date and exchanging numbers and ashton leaves with calum, not forgetting to kiss luke's cheek, and also not forgetting to slap a $500 check on the counter and luke looks at it and starts crying, because now him and his mum can buy a house instead of living in their car.
