the smaller and more blonde boyfriend was in him and his husband's bedroom reading when his son rushed in 'daddy!!' and luke looked up at his four year old sob to see his little hands clutching pieces of his hair because he started chemo so luke smiled sadly, pulling him in his lap 'd-daddy..why's my hair falling?' and luke sighs, kissing his forehead 'remember what you got yesterday bud? it's making it do that.' and he tried to explain it as best he could until ashton knocked and walked in, luke's eyes widening but he didn't say anything, just sent anthony to play before he did, 'you shaved your head?' taking in his gray beanied but bald head as ashton smiled proudly 'didn't want him to feel alone, ya know? he's my little bud.' and luke smiles at him 'you're seriously the best man i've ever met, huh?' and he wraps his arms around his neck and ashton smiles and shrugs, a pink blush on his cheeks before luke drags him to the bathroom mirror, getting out the electric razor 'do mine?'
