prince!michael chasing down the alley, keeping the men in sight from when he saw them chasing a boy his age so he sprints, stopping and watching from the wall as they corner the small blonde boy 'please i-i didn't do anything!!' and michael's eyes stay trained on him while the men growl something and the boy starts to tremble and it's five minutes of screams and punches and kicks when michael gains courage 'hey!!' and the men stop and go wide eyed 'what do you think you're doing?!' and the men all sink to their knees in respect because he is the most respected, even more than his father 'your highness—' 'i order you to leave. now.' and then michael is helping the blonde up, whose nose is bleeding 'you okay love?' and the boy nods with starstruck eyes and michael cracks a smile 'i'm michael' 'i know.' and michael sighs 'b-but i'm luke.' he said and michael smiled 'so what's with those guys?' and luke frowns and explains his father is a drunk and owes a lot of people a lot of money, so he beaten up every once in a while so michael takes luke back to the castle where he fixes him up, and when anyone asks michael was just..wiping the blood off his lips..w-with his own lips.
