michael was sitting in a cell, light tears coating his cheeks and he hears the door open, looking up to see the person he didn't want to see 'hi.' 'get out' and ashton sighed 'michael you have to listen to me—' 'you can't be in here, your highness.' he said through gritted teeth and blurry eyes and ashton's eyes filled and he shook his head 'd-don't call me t-that..please michael' and michael looks away from his eyes and laughs sadly 'i thought you were different, your majesty.' he paused 'that you..that you weren't someone above me..you said you were a street rat too.' he whispered and shook his head 'a-and i thought..i thought you loved me—' and ashton cups his face through the bars 'baby..i-i do love you.' and michael shakes his head 'a prince..doesn't love a street rat' and the door opens and ashton's hands drop from his face 'you're free to go kid.' and ashton can't help but watch the lilac haired boy walk out of the room like he did in his life.
