Chapter 3 - Charmed
I tugged at Skandar's arm as we rushed towards the set again. My shoelaces were loose and I was trying not to step on them. Skandar skidded to a stop. I yanked at his arm again.
"What?!" I questioned frantically.
"Oh no. I just remembered." He muttered.
"What?" I repeated.
"I've got an assignment due!" He looked up into my eyes.
"Can't you do it later?" I asked.
"Nope, Imma go partay later." He shrugged.
"Ok. Fine." I answered when I realised I was being selfish. "Go along." I pushed him off.
"Thanks." He turned and practically leaped the whole way back to his house. I turned back to walk and shoved my hands in my pockets, feeling miserable. I can't even keep him. No way I can be chosen for the female lead. I started to slouch, pouring all my emotions onto the ground.
I should have looked where I was going instead of examining the concrete patterns, because I bumped into a black-hooded figure.
"Ouch." I muttered as I bounced off the body and landed on the ground. I glanced up to see the guy who I had bumped into.
"Skandar?" I asked. No, that can't be right. He'd just when waking off towards his house.
"Tyler?" I tried again. No, that can't be Skandar's twin either.
He bent down and grabbed my arms and pulled me up. As I did, I caught a glimpse of his eyes. Blue-green. There was only one person in town who had those eyes.
"Logan?"
"I was hoping to see you again." He chuckled.
What did that mean?
~~~~~~~~~~
Ooh. So why do you think Logan was just there? By purpose or was he finding something. Or someone. Or maybe he's running away?
Sorry if this is a bit short!
