Chapter 5 - Crooked
Skandar's POV
I didnt want to leave her. But I had to. Any longer and my love for her would deepen. But I can't confess. As soon as I was out of Georgie's sight, and jumped onto the low wall and glanced at her. She was slouching, her messy brown hair tumbling over her shoulders and covering her face. I felt awlful. But she doesn't like me. Does she?
I didn't have to wait long before my thoughts were interrupted with an oof. I jerked up, Georgie had been pushed by a guy in a hoodie similar to mine. I pushed my nails into my palm, until it was almost bleeding. It took all my self control to stop myself from pushing him over. Until I saw who it was.
Logan. Logan Lerman. Damn him! He's only met her for less than one day and he's already attracted to her. I've known her my life and she's never noticed me for more than a friend. I watched intently at them, before seeing him pull her towards the Sweets Lounge. Alright, I have a mission now. Mission: find out why Logan is acting strange and infiltrate them. Mission, go go go!!!
