Chapter 9

Chapter 9 - the One

"Thanks for coming everyone, bad luck if you didn't make it." Said Phil. He turned to the callback group. "You six Hannah's have one day to learn scene 4. Then we'll do a screen test and decide who'll be Hannah. Ok? Here are your set passes." He handed a laminated set pass with a red lanyard to each of us and flicked his hand to dismiss us.

I walked over to a bench and sat down. Logan plopped down next to me.

"Hey." He greeted.

"Hi." I busied myself in looking through my phone for Anna's number.

"You did great."

"Thanks." I blushed.

I pressed call on my phone and within two rings it picked up.

"Hey girl." Answered Anna.

"Hey, Anna. I made the callback!" I could feel Logan's eyes on me.

"Really?!" She screeched. I pulled the phone from my ear briefly.

"Yeah, can you come over to the set and help me practise?" I asked.

"Sure! I'll meet you at the front." She ended the call.

"You know I can help you right?" Chirped Logan.

"Don't you have better things to do than chatting with me?" I pushed him playfully.

"Not really." He shrugged.

"Ok. I'm gonna go up front before Anna bashes the guard up." I chuckled.

"I'll come with you?" He asked hopefully.

"LOGAN!!" Cried a voice. He whipped around and caught the eyes of his manager, Lindy.

"Oops. Sorry, I can't." He muttered before walking off to Lindy. Lindy was tall, she had striking red hair and long legs, she wore a black jumpsuit and three inch heels. She looked in her early thirties. She could be better off as a model.

I sped to the front, where I caught Anna and a guard wrestling. I face palmed and went to stop the action.

"Sorry! She's with me." I cried to the guard. Anna let go of him and brushed herself off with her fingers.

"Hey G." She greeted. I smiled feebly at her. Anna was wearing a black loose knit sweater and faded black jeans and her own version of black chucks. Yup, her own version. Did I mention Anna was a budding fashion designer?

"Let's go." I linked arms with her and walked in, with the guard staring at us. "You can really cause some action." I giggled.

"Meh, c'mon I wanna see the script."

Not much here, just a filler. Anna is finally introduced. What do you think of her? I got to go now,it's my Chinese birthday and I'm gonna go to the cinemas. Ciao.
