Hey,
Thanks for reading. Sorry this chapter is a little but short, so I promise that I will update as soon as possible. I think it's quite intense though, so I'd really like to know what you think.

My arms gripped the tree tightly, the wet stench rippling into my skin and the dewy moss sticking to my arms in a sickening manner. My foot stood on the branch, dangling across the side and gently swinging as my arms wrapped around the tree securely.

I had been waiting for two hours for them to come, as I had ran further up the path to a clearing to wait for Hook and his comrades. And now I had been stuck in the tree above the clearing for what seemed like forever.

Suddenly I heard a noise of sticks snapping below me. My grin widened as I listened closely, craning my neck to look below me and see what it was that they were saying.

Following another snapped twig on the floor, my eyes darted downwards and my grin widened as they began talking to each other about what they ought to do.

'We just need to figure out how to escape the island, then Tink will be more willing to help us.' Hook shrugged, stepping out below the tree and sighing as he looked across at the other people, all looking just as clueless as he was.

'Neal says he knows a way,' Emma panted, looking around the clearing cautiously, trying to figure out if any of the Lost Boys were watching them.

'He'll be back soon,' David reassured her calmly and sent her a small smile, which she half-heartedly returned.

I rolled my eyes at how much they were like adults: boring and prepared. Adults had a very annoying habit of being unable to live in the moment.

When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.

'Do you think Tiger Lily was ok with the pirates kidnapping her?' Mary Margaret asked cautiously, worried I may have been angry and also may decide not to help them. I rolled my eyes. It was nice of her to care, but it frankly didn't bother me. In fact, I had encouraged it.

'Of course.' Regina spat, irritated by her. 'She offered us the information, I'm sure she didn't mind being used as the "bait" seeing as she told us to do that.'

'She's fine,' Hook reassured her kindly, not warming to Regina's bluntness in the slightest. After a moment, he continued, 'I'd say she can be quite ruthless and heartless when she wants to be. Just like her name, Tiger Lily isn't just innocent and precious, she can be as dangerous as a tiger when she wants to be.'

'Dangerous? In what way?' David asked, frowning and I rolled my eyes. Did he not notice my demeanour, the fact that I was a Lost Girl and not just a girl that hang around with the Lost Boys, I was one of them.

'Because she's a dreamer of the day and not of the night.' Hook explained as if in a dream, then continued his explanation, 'And people that do such things are always dangerous because you never know when they may act on their dreams, with their eyes wide open, to make them come true.'

Climbing downwards seemed like the best way to reach them, so I gripped a branch and swung my leg over in a rather undignified scramble to stay in one piece and reach a lower part of the tree.

My feet nestled into the soft, cool and rather damp grass, feeling the moist earth squeeze between my toes and relax my senses on Neverland's soil.

'Actually, I was honoured.' I replied sarcastically, sending her a small, fake smile in return. Regina bridled a little, but didn't reply. 'In fact, I have many more ways of assisting you in finding and retrieving Henry.'
