~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~'I don't want to forget them!' I hissed in return, struggling to get away from his tight grasp. 'I don't regret what I did for a second. You have their son and I'm going to help them get him back again. I won't stay with you in Neverland. I hate you!' I ranted and Peter laughed.
'You have to choose a side, Tiger Lily.' Peter spat angrily. He pointed with his extended index finger to the Lost Boys and said, 'Me and the Lost Boys, or them?'
'Don't test me, Pan!' I yelled angrily and I felt my gaze harden on him, like it was making me feel I'll just watching him. 'Because you know that I will always pick the right side.'
Peter sighed a heavy, irritated sigh. 'Have you forgotten everything I tell you, Tiger? It is not a matter of choosing who is right and who is wrong, for that is a matter of perspective. It is a matter of choosing who will win and we both know that Peter Pan never fails.'
'Maybe you'll fail this time, Peter Pan.' I seethed, bringing myself closer to him and narrowing my eyes in anger.
'A thousand of the most powerful, magical armies couldn't stop me, Tiger. I cannot fail.' Peter extended his arms in mock victory. 'Just like I did with the natives, I'll burn your kingdom down.'
'If you burn them, you burn me too. I'll be dead before the day is done.' I spat.
Pan chuckled, but not in humour. His eyes darkened. 'I see, you've made your choice, Tiger. Don't expect me to show you any mercy.'
'I wouldn't want you too, my former husband.' I bit back. 'Just believe me when I say that I don't want you to fail and die.'
'Is that so? Well, how can I possibly trust someone as dishonest as you again, Tiger?' Peter Pan asked, tilting his head to and for to emphasise his confusion.
'It is not dishonest people you shouldn't trust, Pan, because they always do something dishonest,' I mumbled, sending him a short, brief smile. 'It is honest people that you shouldn't trust, because you never know when they are being dishonest or do something so incredibly dimwitted.'
'We both are dishonest, Tiger, which means that I can predict your dishonesty. I won't let you betray me again.' He stated firmly.
'You can't stop me!' I snapped back fiercely, taking a step backwards and looking him up and down in fury.
'Oh, I think we both know I can,' Peter winked and my eyes widened, because I never expected him to imprison me again.
'What? Peter, please don't-' I gasped in horror, wincing with he fear that controlled me and the delight Peter was feeling at my fear.
'I like it when you call me that,' He whispered in my ear, planting a wet kiss on my temple. Then he cooed, fastening his grip even tighter around me so that his fingers dug into my skin. 'Its just forever.'
I took a step back as these thoughts circled in my mind. Forever. It was now or never, I had to break the spiral before it began and before I got swept away. I did the only thing I truly knew how to do, I turned and I ran.
Peter Pan merely stared at me, not bothering to chase after me for a moment. We both knew that he knew every part of this island and could find me immediately. Anyone could run, but no one could never hide from Peter Pan.
I sprinted across the forest, causing many Lost boys to stop what they were doing and turn to face me, occasionally laughing.
I blocked out all noises, keeping my head low and pounding my energy through my arms and legs, knowing I had ages before I reached the beach and the sea to my freedom.
