There was footsteps outside my cage. I jumped, but remained silent, my eyes lifting from the floor to stare intently at the tree line. I hoped, more than anything, that it was a Lost Boy. In fact, a mountain lion would be better than Peter Pan, I decided.

The boots fell to the ground and snapped occasionally twigs, crunching on leaves and then softening into the mud with every footstep. I held my breath as they slowly came closer, walking at such a prolonged pace it was like an animal stalking its prey.

And then, a figure loomed through the mist, walking confidently though the clearing towards me, as if it knew the way, despite neither of us being able to see through the fog. I could tell he was tall, however. He was taller than most Lost Boys. But as he approached, he conformed my suspicions.

'Bae...?' I smiled gleefully, my fingers curling through the bars of the cage. I leaned forwards, excited to have seen him so unexpectedly arriving before me.

My heart pounded in my chest as I stared at Baelfire, my hands trembling once again. I simply couldn't believe it, he was there before me once again in a time when I was feeling most alone and afraid. Although we had only been apart from each other for less than three weeks, I still couldn't put into words how much I missed him.

Both of our eyes watered, 'I missed you so much.'

'I missed you more, my little Tiger Lily. So much more,' Baelfire moved towards the cage and, rather awkwardly, put his arms through the bars and wrapped them around my body, resting his head against mine, taking a moment to enjoy the sweet reunion once again.

He kissed the top of my forehead, holding on to my tightly, in a silent promise to never let go. I wasn't sure if we could keep that promise.

'I can't believe your here, with me.' I whispered, my eyes planting into his, before begging, 'Please take me away from here.'

'I can't, Tiger, Pan will find us. And I can't anyway because this cage needs a key and has enchantments to protect it from being destroyed. Pan knows what he's doing,'

The mention of Pan knocked me back to reality and I bowed my head in sorrow as I reminded him quietly, 'You can't be here.'

'So?'

'If he finds you...' I trailed off, allowing him to realise what I meant. Baelfire had never been selfish, but he didn't seem to realise the effects of his actions on me. He might lose a son, but I could be tortured for eternity with Pan.

'We need you help.' He said urgently and I had to resist the urge to roll my eyes. It appeared that, despite being imprisoned, Henry's family required my assistance. I didn't doubt their capabilities, but they didn't seem to care that whenever they have used my help, it hasn't always ended well for example being caged twice or almost being killed while escaping from pirates. I wasn't sure if I was in the mood for rescuing.

'You have a lot of nerve asking that considering where I am, Bae,' I pointed out spitefully. 'What do you want?'

'We want to escape the island after we rescue Henry, so I suggested capturing the Shadow.'

'I can't help you with that,' I said looking down, ashamed and annoyed that his first instinct was to go and ask me, because apparently I knew exactly what to do. It was clear I didn't know Pan half as well as I thought I did. Maybe I was just exceptionally bitter, maybe I was just sick of being the saviour when I wanted to be the saved.
