Kaylin Dark

I saw Dr. Wells glare at me over Cisco's shoulder.

I lifted my head up a little and mouthed, "You'll never escape your destiny," and rested my head back on Cisco's shoulder. He shook his head. I pulled away from Cisco and walked out of the Cortex. I took out my phone and started going through the pictures of Barry and I.

"If you don't love me then why are you going through photos of me?" I jumped and looked up to see Barry standing there. I shrugged.

"I guess because it's the only thing I've ever known." He frowned. "I'm sorry. I just can't help that-" When I looked down at the phone the pictures were gone. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I swiped through every photo in my phone. They weren't there. "No!" I yelled.

"What?" I looked up at Barry with wide eyes.

"The photos just deleted themselves. Our relationship is being erased from time." This time his eyes widened.

"What will happen to you?" he whispered. I shook my head and shrugged, setting my phone in my back pocket.

"There's only one way I could die and that's if the Reverse Flash died but he's not dead."

A few months later and we never found a way to recover the photos. It was impossible. They were deleted from existence. I hadn't talked to Izabella after she betrayed me and Cisco and I were happy living together. "He's the Reverse Flash!" I heard Barry exclaimed. I stopped in the doorway. No one saw me.

"So does that mean that Kaylin is Wells' daughter?" Caitlin questioned. They must have heard me gasp because all of their heads whipped towards me. I was in the doorway of the front door to Joe's house, late because of traffic. "Kaylin," she whispered.

"You're his daughter?" Cisco asked softly. I fought back the tears and nodded.

"I guess you can say that. His real name is Eobard Thawne. What he did to take over the identity of Harrison Wells is complicated and I don't feel like explaining it, but I'm not the enemy," I explained. Barry nodded and sent me a small smile. "You don't have to worry about taking him down. That's what I was sent here to do. Just get the confession and then I'll finish my mission." Cisco looked at me in confusion before it settled in. Either way I'll die. I just don't want Eddie to die.

"You were sent here to kill your own father?" Joe asked. I nodded and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Wow," Eddie said. "What will happen to you?" My face paled. Make something up!

"I'll live. Because it's a different time I won't die or get hurt," I lied smoothly. They all nodded.

"You control his destiny." I looked up at Martin Stein and saw him explaining the coincidence to Eddie. "If you die, he dies."

"But wouldn't that mean that Kaylin dies?" Eddie asked. Stein nodded. I quickly cut in.

"No." I glared at Stein. "It's complicated. You wouldn't understand," I said. Stein grabbed my arm and pulled me aside. "They can't know," I hissed.

"So what happens when you die or leave this time? Huh, Kaylin? Tell me." I sighed and shook my head. I seemed to be doing that a lot.

"I can't and you know why. They just can't know. If they suspect it they'll blame themselves," I whispered. He placed his hands on my shoulders and looked me straight in the eyes.

"They'll blame themselves either way." I shrugged.

"This will be easier."
