There's plenty of times Grace has blushed because of Chester. Probably more than she can count. It's always that burning feeling you feel in your cheeks that's half embarrassment and half affection. It's simultaneously one of Grace's favorite and least favorite things her body does. Chester made it something she didn't mind.

The first day they met on the set of Camp Takota was the also the first time Chester made Grace blush. She had just come out of hair and makeup, her golden hair pin straight and more than her usual amount of makeup on. She was wearing a blazer, skirt, and flowing white tank top. And there was Chester See, gloriously shirtless, lounging casually on the bed that was meant to be theirs. Jeff and Elise's, not yours and Chester's. Grace thought to herself forcefully. For gods sake pull it together and don't let your fantasies take over.

She forced a smile as her mind whirled. Chester welcomed her easily. The director told Grace to go ahead and climb into the bed with Chester. She tried to lie as comfortably and causally as possible but it was almost impossible with her heart pounding and her breath taken away. Chester wasn't just handsome. He was beautiful.

The scene is called to a start and Grace somehow remembered her lines. She said them but didn't hear herself. It's like her brain and body were disconnected. All she could see were Chester's warm eyes. They're like a cup of coffee and she drank them up like it was 5am and she was running on two hours of sleep. His mouth moved in time with the sound of his lines and Grace was suddenly taken into the mesmerizing land of his lips. They're plump and pink, full of joy. She swallowed back the urge to lean forward and kiss them.

Her head tipped forward in an attempt to hide herself from him but he leaned forward and pressed those blessed lips against her forehead gently. Her cheeks burned with blush and when she looked up, and the director called cut, Chester commented on them.

"You're blushing." He joked.

"They must've put too much blush on me." Grace covered almost expertly. The slight husk to her voice gave it away.

And then there was their first date. Chester came to pick her up at 6 to go to dinner and Grace was waiting not so patiently on her couch with Goose watching nervously. The dog was perplexed at the nervous energy coming from her master. Grace smoothed the skirt of her deep plum dress one more time as the doorbell rang. Goose let out a howl and ran to the door, nails scratching on the hardwood floors.

"Goose!" Grace called, hurriedly pulling the dog back. She opened the door cautiously.

"Hi." Chester murmured. Grace looked Chester up and down, seeing him in a white button up and dress pants with a bouquet of pink roses in hand. "These are for you." He announced shyly, handing her the flowers. She took them carefully, in awe at his small act of romance.

"Thank you very much. They're beautiful." Grace praised, going to put the flowers in a vase of water.

"Not as beautiful as you." Chester said quietly behind her. Grace giggled a little, her hair falling in her face to hide her rosy cheeks.

And the day they got the keys to their house and they went to open the doors officially for the first time. They had pulled up to the house in Chester's car and dashed to the door like kids to a candy shop.

"You do the honors Gracie." Chester said excitedly. Grace looked up to him.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Positive." Came Chester's reply. Grace exhaled a deep breath and unlocked the door, letting it swing open. They did not go inside right away, just staring into the empty house that would soon enough become theirs. So much possibility held in one house. A house that would become a home.

Chester suddenly swooped Grace up bridal style and carried her inside as she laughed happily. He rejoiced at the sound of her laughter, letting the soft melody bounce in his ears. As he set her down, she spoke.

"What was that for?" She inquired. Chester simply smiled.

"Practice for when we're married and I carry you across the threshold as my wife." He answered easily. Grace raised her eyebrows at that.

"You're planning on making me your wife, are you?" She asked teasingly.

"Well of course, but only if you'd like to. There nobody else on the planet I'd want to spend the rest of my life with." Chester replied confidently. And it was that, that unwavering confidence in what he said, that made Grace just as confident she wanted Chester to be hers forever. And so when Chester pressed his lips to hers that day, her cheeks flooded with color, not from lust but from the pure joy and excitement of the life they'd have.
