Grace's POV

I lie awake, wide awake, at twelve in the morning. As usual. But tomorrow I have to go to this meeting at six, and I don't want to be all sleep deprived. I roll onto my side, and look at Chester.

"Can't sleep?" He asks.

I shake my head and he sits up.

"Come on Gracie." He whispers.

I take his hand, and he leads me out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" I ask, laughing a little.

He opens his phone, and then sets it on the counter. He presses the screen, and "Kiss Me" begins to play.

"Being spontaneous." He announces.

Chester comes over to me, and places his hands on my waist.

"I can't dance, you dumb dumb." I remind him.

"Neither can I." He replies.

He begins to sway, guiding me along with him. I roll my eyes and place my hands on his shoulders.

"Kiss me, like you wanna be loved." He sings along quietly in my ear.

I rest my head against his chest, and his heart beats steadily in my ear. I can feel the slow, rhythmic thump and it soothes me. My mind clears, and I'm suddenly very sleepy. Chester scoops me up, holding me like a baby against his chest.

"I love you, Grace Anne Helbig." I hear him whisper to me.

"I love you too." I tell him.

He kisses my forehead, and sets me down on the bed. When he climbs back in, I curl up against his side.

"Goodnight Chester." I say with a content sigh.

"Goodnight Grace." He answers.
