"Sometimes I feel like if you just watch things, just sit still and let the world exist in front of you - sometimes I swear that just for a second-time freeze, and the world pauses in its tilt. Just for a second. And if you somehow found a way to live in that second, then you would live forever." ― Lauren Oliver.

A/N: Here we go the Epilogue we've been waiting for for.

I'm crying while finishing this. Totally in love with them and with my little Marco. I wish he could talk here. lol (I was so tempted to make him talk.. lol, but I knew it would look like this book is a joke.. Where in reality can you find a pup talking? right?)

Well, without further ado, here we go..

Marco Angelo Massaretti's POV

At Ruby Grand Estate, five months later...

MY EYES pinned at the monitor of the skinny 13" Mac Air laptop sitting on my lap, with my eyes feeling sore from staring at it for almost three hours working.

I was sitting on the bed in our master bedroom, with my back resting on the headboard.

My eyes diverted to the small clock on the right top corner of the monitor and it's already three in the afternoon.

I rub my temples and close my eyes couple times to sooth my eyes for a few minutes, then I look on my right side and saw my wife, my Georgina peacefully having her nap after a short walk with me in the garden. After laying on the bed like three hours ago, she finally found sleep.

She needs a little exercise before the baby comes out.

I can't wait to hold my baby. For the gender, it was going to be a surprise.

I wanted to know it, but my wife insisted on being a surprise, and as a loving husband I reluctantly agreed. It was hard to say yes and let her win, but I did it. It was hard at first. I wanted that every decision in the house is coming from me, but you know why I fell hard for her because she always knew how to defy me.

So I had to do things without her knowledge sometimes. Especially when it is for her safety.

I turned the laptop off and folded it, placing it on the side table and quietly climbed out of the bed and tucked her in and kissing her cheek before heading to the door.

I wanted to check on the delivery room if it's all ready. I always come to see it every time I get a chance, not wanting to miss anything.

Dr. Ross said it's all set. Just waiting for the baby to decide to come out.

I had paid men to set up all the machines needed for the delivery room in my mansion. Georgina doesn't know it and she thought my friend Dr. Toby Ross is here for a vacation and his three nurses and a co-doctor who was his best friend as well, but I actually was paying them until Georgina will deliver the baby.

I don't want to bring her to the hospital. I'd rather turn one of the rooms here in the mansion as a delivery room, which I did, than driving her to the nearest hospital which is going to be like an hour or couple hours, the closest one.

I know she will object. She insisted on staying in Manhattan so it's close to the hospital, but I'm not ready yet to let her out of my sight. I don't really trust her to listen to me anyway. She always finds herself in trouble.
