I try my hardest,
Each and every time,
Yet I still feel like,
I'm stuck in rewind,
But I keep on truckin',
And always keep my head held high,
Fighting the tears back,
Cause I refuse to be left behind,
People say terrible things,
"You can't,
You won't make it,
Why even bother trying,"
Their words hurt,
But I just walk on by,
I won't give up my dreams,
Just because they think I should,
I know if I try my hardest,
The'll be the ones left behind.
