From first glance of that cover
I start to wonder
I start to ponder
How can I sit alone in my room
Reading about somebody's doom?
I read page one
I read page two
And by page three I'm already engaged
The first chapter's done
And I've only just begun
The time is flying
I'm not even trying
It's like I'm in a trance
That I cannot escape
The character's come alive
Out of the page they dive
I can see their adventure
My mind starts to venture
I cannot believe the book's almost done
The last page is a gliss
And I know that I'll miss
The glace of that cover
That led me to wonder
