At times like these I sit and stare
At the television in front of me
The movies I chose to claim my sight
Are the only hint of honesty
Because it seems like depression is on a mission
To retrieve my happiness
It's already stolen all my friends
And in return, it gave me lonliness
But little did it know that I have one more friend
Who's been by my side through thick and thin
Knows exactly what to say to make feel better
And show up anytime, in any type of weather
So at times like these I sit and stare
At the television infront of me
And in my lap lays my only friend....
